Need some advice about a/c location

We have a dance studio with two studio rooms. Both a/c units are located in the same closet in Studio B. The air return for Studio B and the Waiting Room sits just below the thermostat in the Studio B. The air return for Studio A opens to an non-temperature controlled public area. The thermostat for Studio A is in the Waiting Room. There is an air grille below that thermostat in the Waiting Room that opens up into the non-temperature controlled area. There is also an air grille in the door to Studio A. We are having trouble getting the temperature cool enough in Studio A. I was wondering if there should be some duct work connecting the Air Return for the Studio A a/c unit to the air grille going into the Waiting Room. Here is a link to a diagram showing the space layout and location of the air returns and air grilles: http://www.feisneworleans.com/ Any advise or assistance would be extremely appreciated. THANKS
