Thanks everyone I appreciate it! Sandy, I am going to make sauce with this batch. Jellies, powder, ferment, and pickled pepper in the future. MVR, the pots are all different sizes. If I had to guess, up on the deck I think they are 2, 3, and 4 gallon pots. On the ground the white ones are probably 10-12 gallons and the brick colored ones are a little over 5 gallons but they only have 5-6 gallons worth of mix in them. I think in general bigger is better for the plant, but this set up works for me. It seems to stagger when plants fruit and when the fruit ripen, with the biggest pots taking the longest, but bearing the most fruit. I have a shorter grow season and this gives me ripe peppers consistently throughout (until the end when I get a ton). Plus, itâÂÂs a lot cheaper to fill the pots and saves me a lot of space. In the bigger pots the plants seem to get much bigger but that depends on the variety. For example, my Brain strains in the smaller pots out grow my sante fe or cayenneâÂÂs in the bigger pots without a problem. I donâÂÂt bother putting habs in a larger pot, they do just fine in the smaller ones. One thing I am noticing this year is that the size and shape of the pods also seem to be different depending on pot size. Anyone experience this? Thanks again everyone, Scott

Everyone sent great seeds and I will be sowing a lot of them this season. The most creative referenced the poultry and egg garden, including several plumes, Turkey Craw pole beans, a couple of feathers and one Cranesbill, not to mention a couple of foxes in the hen house (Foxgloves). I am always surprised and delighted by some of the associations people make in this swap. Other themes got nice seeds too and poor Miss Lottie could not help but be encouraged by all the different kinds of Marigold. Thanks again! The cost to refinish marble countertops will be based on size,condition of stone(how severe is the scracthing, etching and or staining,cracks,chips,etc)type of stone(darker stones and some limestones can be tricky to refinish)time and materials. Special pricing if we change the finish from polished to honed(easier and reasonably priced) or honed to polished(which is impossible to do to granite on site- very-difficult to do on marble(can be pricey). Our pricing on an average kitchen(60-80sqft) with normal wear and etching will start at around $650.00 and up. Larger kitchens with multiple islands and multiple countertops and other areas over 100 sq ft can that can be done in a day will start $900.00 and up. Pricing will vary region to region. Stone refinishing is one of those trades where experience is very important. I have been doing this since 2003 and still learn something everyday. While some stones are easier to work on others can be a serious undertaking. Not to mention the possibility of damaging fixtures back splashes,cabinets etc. Other issues could be dust or water containment and proper masking techniques so appliances,wallpaper,furniture and fabrics are protected . So While I am sure that a very handy person could do or try to refinish the stone there is the question of purchasing and using the proper equipment. Thanks, Karenseb! Even with a credit, I think we have to do something now anyway - since right now there is no toilet in there, and the old tile was loose where the leak had been. I wonder if that leads me back to just putting in the new (but not overly pricy) tile and a middle-of-the-road white toilet, since they'd probably use white for any future work. But I think to advertise it as a 2.5 bath house, a toilet has to actually be in place? Kind of a circular problem - I'd rather just give them the cost of any repairs in cash, but some repairs may be needed to sell it at all... Thanks!
