Denninmi...I'm in the same place. I've got 4 trees in pots now, with no idea where they will eventually go. (one is an apple, as a matter of fact). (before you think I'm not even close, realize I've got 30+ figs in pots ranging from 2 gal up to 25 gal as well...not to mention the passionflowers and bamboos). I do have an autumn olive that I will likely remove, but its placement makes doing so a huge undertaking and I would have to do more than just cut it at ground level because I would want the planting space. I've not had much success grafting either. I had two that looked quite promising a couple years ago. They were too interesting looking to the squirrels or possums or something though as they were victims of something. After that I gave up. (I'll likely try again sooner or later though ~Chills oh, yeah...btw...the persimmon is leafing out well. The tops of the leaders were looking like they were dead, but slowly they are pushing their buds as well. Maybe I'll get fruit this year...time will tell

Oh Kath, Congratulations on finding just what you wanted. It is beautiful. Love your dining table too. Perfect decorating!! When we moved into our house 17 years ago, it had a nice dining room, so I wanted a nice dining set. Well, about 3 months ago I found my dream set on craig's list. It was a little high for craig's list I thought, but, my precious husband said, you have waited for 17 yrs for the right one, go for it. So, I did, and it is in my upstairs bed room un-assembled b/c the dining room has been made into my Daddy's bedroom. I like the dining room set, but I LOVE my Daddy. But, I got the one I wanted. I have watched intermittently, so I don't really know many names. I remember the Swon bros, and thought they were great. I also think Danielle is great, and can be mentored to become a big star because she has the voice and the look. I would be hard pressed to pick a winner, because many of whom I have seen are really good. It just depends on what kind of music you like. When Sasha was singing (the last performance last night) I loved her when she was actually singing and not shouting into the mic. Her natural singing voice is beautiful, with a little bit of huskiness.

nita - i was just thinking the bathroom scene might illicit questions that vannie might not want to be the one to educate her about that topic. as for the other.......the "eat my s--t" might be a bit strong for an 11 yr old. she has surely heard the word but that sentence was used repeatedly and was pretty gross even though i am an adult who is certainly not a prude!.........lol. i just thought i would lay it out there since she asked. it might not bother her at all...........
