Latest pic of my Clumping Moso :-)

"I think the lack of spread is most likely related to the shady conditions" I have read numerous posts from those who say they grow Moso who say that shade is essential in order to grow Moso successfully. In fact I've read so many favorable posts to growing any species of bamboo in shade that I don't think doing so can be a negative. I've read many posts saying that the grower believed their bamboo grew taller and of course with thicker culms due to the bamboo growing in shade and reaching for sun. I would concur though that we sadly do not have enough information to verify what is true. I wish those growing bamboo would photographically document their experiences and share so we can figure out what is what.

Mike, All your plants look so happy in there! Do you heat it in the winter when it gets colder? I have seen them, but I didn't know if they worked or not. Do they work? Are there some kind of air holes in them? What are those pipes for? Let me know if it works for you this winter, and mabey I will try one of those next fall. I had to throw my mandevilla out this fall, I can't bring it in the house because of bugs. They are beautiful and I wouldn't mind growing it in one of those plastic houses in the winter til the end of March. Great Plastic greenhouse!

Yeah...it was expensive for all of them. But I got the sapodilla from them since PIN couldn't ship them out until a few weeks later and i think they just grafted it not too long. And Top said theirs were fruiting in pots so I got excited and purchased that. Then you get the 5% plus 10% off for the second order over $100. And then their lychees are blooming/fruit size so I got to get it from them since it might take longer from PIN. Well, next time i will order from PIN. I think I still want more....LOL. Better save up my money now....LOL

No, it is fabric that comes very close to matching my living room furniture. I used some really light batting, just to give it some "plump", but thin, so that I can still set things on it. I thought about painting a floral design on the sides, but thought that might end up being too busy. I'm an trying for a very simply, cottage look in my living room. So I opted not to paint it, and just go with the floral fabric.

She did have a ton of hair...looks like she's losing it.

Well if she anything like the rest of the kids she'll have thick hair before you know it.

I don't get to see her as much as the other two.

I get so tickled with Lilah...when she see's me she comes running with her little chubby hands opening and shutting up in the air....She loves me...what can I say....lol

I hope Amara gets to know me like that.

I'll have to start inviting them over for eats...

They all show up for free eats...lol
