Liquid soap everywhere except for DH's bathroom, bar soap for the shower. Yeah for liquid soap, no more gummy soap dishes to clean.

I have both at all sinks. Sometimes I like to use my Valencia bar and sometimes I like lemon from Bath and Body Works in the pump bottle. I found a new scent though, Sea Island Cotton, oh my, is it nice!

Liquid in the baths and I use Dawn when I'm in the kitchen.

I like to use a foaming hand soap in the bathroom and have dish soap in a dispenser in the kitchen.

Both bar soap and liquid in the bathroom - I think guests prefer to use the liquid. DH would rather use the bar soap because it doesn't have a girlie smell. I have liquid in the kitchen - Bath and Body Works Aromatherapy Orange Ginger - YUM!!

Foaming dispensers here. The only bar of soap here is a bar of Fels Naptha that I haven't even used yet. It's at the laundry tub of course. I've gotten hooked on the foaming dispensers. I have a gallon of Softsoap that I dilute about 50/50 and it foams just fine.

Why does everybody like the soft soap?

I'm like cynic. Fels Naptha is the only 'bar' in the house. (My DH uses Dial liquid in the shower; doesn't smell floral.)

In all the years I scrubbed showers and tubs, thinking I was removing *dirt*, I was actually scrubbing away bar soap scum. Who knew, until softsoaps came along?

I also use only Bon Ami -- no abrasive cleansers.

Soft soap in a pump jar at all sinks. Gel in showers. The only bar soap in the house is in my bath tub and it's Yardley of London lavendar soap and I'm the only one allowed to use it. lol! I've loved that scent since I was in high school and that's a long time ago.

Unscented liquid soap at the guest (downstairs) bathroom sink. Individually wrapped small bar soaps for guests to use in the shower (huge shower, no tub in the guest bathroom).

Unscented liquid soap at both sinks in the upstairs hall bath. Tub (with "shower over") in that bathroom isn't used, so no soap there. This is the bathroom that hubs uses for shaving, brushing his teeth, etc. He only uses the master bathroom for showering.

In the Master bathroom --

Unscented liquid soap at one sink. At the sink I use, I've got liquid OptiSoap, which is a special soap for washing your fingers/hands before handling contact lenses. Also a bar of Hugo Naturals Oatmeal and Shea Butter soap for washing my face, and a bar of Dove Unscented for Sensitive Skin for general use/hand washing.

In the shower, there's a bar of Hugo Naturals Oatmeal and Shea Butter soap and a bar of Hugo Naturals Sweet Orange and Vanilla soap. Ditto for the soaking tub in the master bath.

Both in kitchen, bathroom sinks and tub. I alternate, whimsically.

SoftSoap at all sinks. I use bathgel for my showers, but DH likes bar soap.

Foaming Hand Soap in the Bathroom and Dish soap in a pump bottle at the kitchen sink. The only bar soap is in DH's hockey bag. Showers with it after a game and it helps to keep the hockey bag smelling pertty!

I have three bars of soap in the closet that I'll most likely end up tossing. They are probably 6 years old. Liquid soap everywhere. As to why I like the liquid, I feel it is less messy. No gooky gunk to clean off the soap dish and nothing is uglier IMHO than a dying sliver of soap. And I've seen some ugly ones - men especially won't bother rinsing the bar and it lays there with gray streaks of dirt.
