Sad and scary. I have a friend who has had her jewelry and other things swiped more than once by her brother-in-law. He's been in and out of jail all his life and she now refuses to allow him in her house again. His parents are enablers and she either doesn't go to family functions at their house or has to sit there with the thief at dinner. They don't understand why she won't allow him in her house and doesn't want anything to do with him.

He confessed this morning. He was caught with multiple items belonging to her including a broach with her and her late husbands name.
It was not an accident. The cause of death was stab wounds.
I still cannot believe it.
She was 80 years old.

I'm glad he was caught too. I'm sure it is a relief knowing you won't have to worry about him showing up at your doorstep. Same thing happened to a dear friend of mine. The person got 60 years to life and still has no remorse.

salgal, I heard this story on last night's news and thought that it was likely the same as what you had posted about. What a horrible crime against this lady and her family. All have my deepest sympathy.

It's so difficult when something this horrible and senseless happens. The poor lady. I'm so sorry and send condolences to you and your family.

That's a shocker. I feel sorry for a family that has to deal with stuff like this. If it can be proven that he indeed killed his grandmother, he should be put away for life. SO SAD.
