Mike, Do you know the name of that plant w/odd bud. I have only seen pics not up close visual.. But what you may have is either Aspen or Bridgeport. Both are white flowers and there is more mass to the flowers. Bridgeport has a little crimping to the outside petals but Aspen has real crimped and rippled edges, so 1 of these might be what you have. cliff

We bought a house last year where the inspection showed water on the original foundation where the master bed/bath were added on -- so the dripping never showed on the exterior/new foundation. DH figures out where the water was coming from. The shortest route to the exterior wall was a pvc pipe sticking out of the house crawlspace vent with a 5-gal bucket under it to catch the condensate. It's not pretty or elegant but it works. I'd like something less obvious but he's an engineer -- and if it works, he's not fixing it!

Pellethead- thanks for the response. Here's what I've determined happened: I was doing some remodeling work in the room beside the room with the stove. I think that the floor vibrated and the stove "walked" just enough to create some small gaps in the silicone sealing the pipe joints. When the stove started up, the excess smoke in the firebox leaked out and was then picked up by the air intake and blasted through the room. I cleaned out the burnpot and the ignitor chamber and start ups have been fine and I've re-sealed the vent pipes. My sealing job isn't the prettiest, but it'll last until summer when I can really disassemble and reassemble everything. I also cleaned out the vent pipe, but there was little to no ash in it. I'm still really impressed with the stove- we've been using it all winter to heat our 2000sf uninsulated farmhouse and it's been doing a good job.
