Yeah, Michael really dropped the ball. Laura's collection was better than I was expecting--more variety with her look than I was led to believe. Uli's was fine I guess. Michael's? Some stuff kind of was pretty. I dunno. It was just a very disappointing experience. Don't know if I'll bother with next season. They're getting too close to jumping the shark. I hope Laura goes on to greater things or at least gets her stuff out there. Given an infinite amount of free time I'd like to go through the season and tally up the number of times people were criticized for making something that didn't look like "them" and the number of times they were criticized for making something that looked "predictable." But then I guess when you sign up for a "reality" show you're pretty much asking to be jerked around.

I wish I had seen this show. As a rule, I don't care for reality TV, but I think I would have found this interesting. Maybe they will replay it again. I never knew anything about Candy until I looked her up. I think she looks pretty darn good for 66, unless she looked a lot worse on the show than in the pictures I saw. She also seems pretty busy from her bio on Wiki -"She is currently a member of the Los Angeles Coliseum Commission, a Commissioner for the Department of Recreation and Parks (for the City of Los Angeles), a board member of the Los Angeles World Affairs Council, and a member of the board of L.A.s Best, the Mayor's group that provides reading programs to schools in L.A. She is a regular columnist for The Huffington Post, Los Angeles Confidential magazine, and TMZ.com (Spelling It Out). Her autobiography, Stories from Candyland, was released in March 2009. The book hit the NY TIMES bestseller list two weeks after publication. It was also the #1 book at L.A.'s Book Soup."

This was one of the best episodes and I think it was because the 'celebrity' was not only interested in learning about his ancestors but he actually had an interest in American history. It doesn't hurt either that Rob Lowe is handsome and has stunning blue eyes. However good looks aside it was interesting to hear his comments and questions as his family history was revealed. It wasn't the usual 'awesome' 'wow' 'amazing' - there were some but then he followed up with a complete sentences or questions. I used to live just outside of Newton, PA and it is a lovely town north of Philadelphia. However you would think someone would have told them that the name is pronounced 'new town' and not 'new ton'.

Holy Crap! Wow, I almost could not watch this finale. What a bunch of crazy women/people. I watched it on Tuesday night and I watched the 'Directors Cut' last night. It was so awful, I watched it twice...Holy Crap. I feel sorry for Danielle. I don't care much for her, but I still feel sorry for her. As soon as she took that book out from under the table I knew, she is one crazy witch. Who does that? Why, after being invited to a nice dinner party, would you pull a stunt like that? Crazy is the only answere. But, once the book was on the table, how ever it got there, she stood her ground. Crazy ground, but she sat and gave as good as she got. Caroline needs to step off and let her little sister fight her own battles. Dina was acting guilty from the beginning. She was as nervous as a cat and as hyper as she could be. First she was in her seat, then she was sitting behind Teresa, then she was standing behind her sister, then she was walking for the door, then back in her seat. She was all over the place. She really needs to grow up and stop being the baby of that family. Jacqulin and Chris were the only ones who came off looking good. I was glad to see Jacqulin stick to her guns and tell the truth. She pulled the rug out from under Dina and Caroline. And good for Chris for sticking up for his wife in a reasonalbe and adult voice. And Teresa...did she go just a little NUTS or what? Did you watch her? Did you see her flip out? It was like throwing a switch...BOOM! And she kept going and going and going. It was like she was having an out of body experience. Nutzo! Bravo has been teasing us with that clip since before this season began and it was worth it. I am looking forward to the reunion...big time. Sooey
