Hi,
I'm making the main course for my Mom's birthday dinner this Friday, at her house. Her kitchen is small, and she doesn't have the large cookware that I'm used to using. I will be cooking for 7 adults and 4 kids, and can't decide whether to make a seafood jambalaya or a seafood and chorizo paella. Can either of these be made at my home (30 minutes away) and transported effectively? I just prefer cooking in my own kitchen.
I already purchased the chorizo, and plan to have mussels and shrimp in the main dish. Or should I steam mussels for an appetizer and add chicken to the main dish? As you can see, I'm very indecisive on this. My sister is already making a sangria, but I figure that can go with either. My brother is making a green salad.
Recipes are appreciated, in addition to your advice!
TIA
Nancy
