One of our Siamese Fighting Fish, Ninja, who passed away overnight. He was a Crowntail Betta, and more purple than my photo shows. He was a beauty. He's the 2nd of our fish to pass recently. We had 6, and these were the only two from PetSmart, so not sure how old they were (the others are from another store, and were smaller/young when we got them).

Yes, it was taken from my Mediterranean cruise! We passed right by it! Awesome. That's a little fishing village. They make their livelyhood from sword fishing there. Supposedly a great fishing site. And to the right, that rock houses a lighthouse!

Thank you, Moni. Where does your daughter live? I've mentioned many times that I spent 16 years in New Mexico. I lived in the Silver City area. It's right on the edge of the Gila National Forest. The Gila is 1.5 million acres of National Forest and Wilderness. For a guy that likes plants and is into the hiking and camping it's a wonderful place. Ron

This is my sweet boy Michael (21) on Christmas morning eating a cinnamon roll DH traditionally makes. Michael works full-time but once a month has Mondays off because he works the following Saturday. Yesterday I can home from work to an absolutely sparkling house with the following note on the kitchen counter of the things he did to make it that way.

â Vacuum carpet
â Clean wood floors with Bona
â Polish furniture with Liquid Gold
â Put dishes away
â Clean sink
â Clean and polish granite kitchen counters
â Bring in mail.

Guess we'll have to wait to bring in this outdoor Christmas light set. It's a Santa train... engine and two cars. The very top of it is now totally under a foot and a half, or maybe two feet, of snow:

Beautiful pics, as usual. Casey, I swear I've been to your town. I'm thinking that it's the one where they duct taped kids to the lamp posts on the streets. I'll have to look at the pics I took.
