Steamed Chicken Tastes Like Feathers

What have I done wrong? Can one tell me why my chicken taste like chicken feathers?

I marinated the skinless, boneless chicken breasts for 1 hour. The marinade consisted of Sake, soy sauce, brown sugar, seasame seed oil, ginger, garlic and green onion (butcher's recipe). I steamed it in the steam oven for 7 minutes, in a solid tray, in the marinade.
