I just received a quote from a local reputable dealer and would like for anyone that could give me some insight, and a little of your time, to chime in. Their proposal is too install, Upstairs and downstairs, 2 ton Trane xl16i heat pumps,2 4TXCB032BC coils, and 2 xv80 variable speed furnaces. Included in the quote is a 2 year service plan and 10 year labor warranty.

Design notes:Replace furnace, a/c unit, evaporator coil, programmable thermostat (touch screen), aux. drain pan w/safety, a/c basepad, correctly sized outdoor breaker box, rework flue to code, 5" external filter rack, mastic seal all connections - externally on trunk and return pans inside, re-insulate suction line outside, add/increase return to master, replace 3 registers w/high velocity in master, pressure test w/high pressure dry nitrogen, flush lines, pull deep vacuum to 500 microns, charge to Trane specs., complete Trane factory start-up procedures, all labor, warranty.

Total cost is $13,006. Is this a decent price? Should I opt for lower end equip. at a cheaper price? I just don't know if I can justify spending that much cash right now.

Thanks for your time.
