Need a clever idea....

For the 3rd kind of bread I will be serving at my luncheon Tuesday, I have decided to make a garlic monkey bread...make basic white rolls and dip pieces into garlic butter stack in a pan, top each layer with a but of herbs....likely basil and parsley, and some parm cheese, bake....turn out on a plate and serve.

But I don't want to use anything as large as a bundt pan....nor as pedestrian as a small loaf pan...

Any clever ideas?

If I or you all can't think of soemthing, it'll have to be a small loaf pan.

How about baking them in a coffee can and then serving upright with some sprigs of the herbs on the top?

How about individual ones done in cupcake pans? Three rolls per cup cake holder? I think they would look elegant.

How about some small white bows to go with the twinkle lights? They shouldn't be too heavy and they would be pretty. Or how about a bunch of those tiny little Christmas balls..they look like they are about an inch in diameter? Redneck Back Scratchers. Just screw a bottle cap to a wooden paint stirrer and voila you have it. You could sell these at a fair or bazaar. If I find any other ideas I will let you know.

It is tempting to use well known motorcycle symbols in jewelry, but I don't advise it. That stuff is trademarked and you would be trading on troubled waters if you tried to sell such for profit. You'll probably need premission to use logos like Harley, Honda, etc. How about using facimilies of motorcycle parts such as gas tanks, wheels, handle bars, headlamps, shifter pedal, brake disc, saddle bags, shock absorbers, billfold with chain, tools, etc.

Thanks for your suggestions. I can have fabric. I just dont want a canopy and a wall of drapery. valance and side panels would be fine. shutters could work too. the top of the sleigh bed is about 4" higher than the bottom of the window trim and 1" higher than the sill so the bottom of the shutters would extend below the headboard. I think it is the bed covering the bottom of the window that is bothering me. I'm not wedded to the sleigh bed, but it is a nice oak bed i purchased for $100 in the sale room of a nice furniture store. got to love a bargain. the bed wont fit in the corner. the room is only 13+13. maybe the sleigh bed has to go. a nice iron headboard would look more cottagey to go with shutters. my nightstand is a black iron singer sewing machine base with a wood top that i would like to replace with marble.

Some of those old metal jello molds might work. Should give it some kind of design. A small springform pan is the only other thing I can think of as of now.

Do you have an old scalloped redware ring mold? Could probably get two layers & it would have that pretty top.

Thanks...I have a pudding mold....and an old tin coated fluted tube cake pan as well as a couple of copper molds....any of which would work....I just couldn't think.....
I also have a pottery straight sided dish...I use it for flan....think I'll use that and serve it on a footed cake stand....white milk glass...looks a bit like porcelain.
Just needed someone to brainstorm with.
