Damp slab. . . any wood floor possible?

The flooring company said the calcium chloride test read 5.9. The hand-held meter reads 20% moisture in a below grade, 6-month old slab with radiant heat for our new family room/kitchen.

I put down several pieces of plastic with duct tape and after several days no moisture appeared. Confused? You bet we are.

The flooring co. isn't even recommending laminate since there is wood in there somewhere. Is it really impossible to use engineered wood on this slab? Will I be worried all the time if we do?

As a possible substitute, we are looking at ceramic tile that looks like wood. . . but we would really like wood. Thanks for any advice.
