Have you ever not known what you did wrong?

I went to log in to one of my favorite forums today, and couldn't, so I figured there was a glitch, so I re-registered, and wrote the admin and said I hoped I had not done anything wrong. I went back to my mailbox, and there was an approval, so I figured everything was o.k. When I went to log in, it said I was BANNED and to contact the admin to find out why!!!

I am so shocked! I cannot imagine what I did to get banned, unless it was talking about my new website, which is the same topic as the board. I had just talked to the admin, and she said she was going to add a link to her links page for my new site, so I am really stumped. I wrote her again, asking why I was banned, but haven't heard anything.

Why do people do things like that? I remember when GW was like that. If you breathed wrong, you got banned! It was so nice when it was sold, because everyone who had been banned previously had their memberships restored, and there was jubilation all around.

I used to run a forum, and I hated having to ban people, and only did it to the worst ones, like the spammers, and the ones who were harrassing people, or using foul language. I just think sometimes people go power mad when they get a place of their own, don't you?

Anyway, I'm very sad tonight, because now I can't talk to my friends there anymore, and they were so nice. I was depressed anyway, so this just makes it worse.

Yes,I was banned once because another poster had been
banned and the server we both shared was banned,it
took quite awhile and a lot of emails to get it fixed.
The other poster did write and apologise to me. :-)

Spike sent me to Disney when I was very new to the forums, and it was traumatic, to say the least. I had mentioned another forum, and zoooooom, there I went. I begged, groveled and pleaded to be allowed back, and asked what I had done wrong. The reply was, "Who do you think pays the bills, the tooth fairy???" Well, after a couple of days, Spike allowed me to return to the KT.

My opinion on pot fillers. If the pot is too heavy to carry to the stove when the water is cold, I sure don't want to carry it to the sink when the water is boiling. For the effort/cost I don't need one. YMMV, though. I wish I had run my layout by gardenweb members for feedback. I wish I would have thought about a pull out cutting board. I haven't had one for about 30 years and had adapted. Would really like to have one again. The matt white Formica shows every speck of everything! Good, because I can wipe it off right away. Bad because if I haven't wiped it off right away everyone can see it. I live on a gravel road. I rarely use my a/c. Windows are open all the time. The FX stuff I originally planned might have been a better choice. Maybe next time. I do like the look of the white, though. I really hate my upper diagonals but I also hate the blind corner cabs. The more complicated pull down/out doesn't appeal to me. Problem still not solved. I don't like what I have but I don't like the other choices. I thought and thought about this and only came up with the three "I wishes", so all in all, my kitchen turned out pretty good. I am more than delighted to have the peninsula gone and every time I think about my new kitchen I suspect my face has the orgasm expression.

Once a friend of mine sent me a Christmas gift but it never came, until 6-9 months later! It was a homemade fruitcake. I was swapping with Kiwi who's in New Zealand and my package never got to her. Weeks later it showed up back at my house, pretty mangled. I had to resend it to her. I've had a few Netflix movies disappear when I mailed them back. I was putting them in my mailbox and putting the flag up but I only did it very rarely, usually I drop them in the drive thru mail drop in front of our post office. So, I got kinda suspicious that everytime I left them in our mailbox here at the house they would turn up missing. I quit doing that, in fact I only put mail that doesn't belong to me out there anymore. Then about two months ago I was leaving work and dropped my Netflix movies in a curbside box in Lexington and one turned up missing again. I hate getting the ex's mail. He's never lived in my house and I just find it really annoying that they are sending his crap to me.

Phyllis...I don't think so...if you check their my page they have been signed up since 2007. I went over to ask at Meeting House and saw that they had already checked to see who it was. Just somebody beating Sandy to the punch. My answer to the question is NO....we had a lock on our door. But we had them knocking.

I am hypothyroid, take synthyroid, but after several days of going full speed, I will crash. I will get up with my husband, fix his breakfast, then go back to bed, and will sleep well into the afternoon, then sleep all that night. After that, I am ready to go again... Have asked my dr. why I do this, and he does not seem to know. He said it has nothing to do with hypothyroidism, as synthyroid is taking care of my thyroid. It has been a pattern with me every since I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism. Yeah, I am wierd.
