I did well here a couple of years ago. They ran good sales all the time and shipping was free. I havne't kept up after I bought everything I needed. They might still run a coupon deal if you send a photo of your finished project/item. Since no shipping, order one thing, take a picture, send it in, get the coupon to use on something else. I'm watching Lands End every morning when they put up new items. Haven't found anything I want yet, but Monday morning they will be having down vests for women for $19. I might get one of those as a gift, maybe one for me too. If you don't get one of the marked down items, the whole site is 30% off with free shipping over $50. PS I want to get a T-shirt for my grandson with a dinosaur on the front. Saw a few on Amazon, but not sure of the sizing (he wears a 4). Any suggestions where I could shop for something like this? I was quite a bit disappointed in the whole affair, and wrote so in the other thread. The online comments and twittersphere seem to agree. However, it was a huge revenue day for Amazon, so I'm guessing they were pleased. We bought some stuff that we needed and that was at a decent price -- small discounts and items already in our queue. They upped their check out offer for prime -- by waiting four days for shipments you get a $5 credit that's good for select merchandise, not just downloads. Various things like a walnut cutting board, yoga mats, underwear, kind bars, and USB cables will be arriving over the next week. Nothing major. The best part of the hype was the fact that other sites responded with coupons and sales. The best was Zwilling (owner of kitchenware lines like Demeyere, Henckels, Miyabi, Staub, etc). They have some excellent clear deals on their US site, well below retail. Valid through tomorrow.

I usually make a shutterfly album from summer vacation pics, and I haven't done that yet...so there's something I can do. I also just downloaded a modern cross-stitch pattern from etsy, so I might have my home-from-college DS drive me to the craft store tomorrow for a quick excursion to buy supplies for that. Bought new living room pillow covers from etsy too...merry Christmas to me! I watched the first episode of "Good Behavior" (new series with the actress who played Mary from Downton Abbey) this morning...I liked it. I have the second episode to watch, too. Fun to see her in such a dramatically different role.
