Find any Black Friday deals online?

I took advantage of a Black Friday sale at Mpix.com, my favorite photo printer, and ordered my Christmas cards this morning. I designed them myself. The sale ends at noon Central Time. Sale promo code is HOLIDAYCARDS13.

My grandson Joey's birthday is in July, but I found the perfect birthday gift for him at Overstock.com this morning--a "rolling coaster ride-on car"--on sale for Black Friday. It can reside in my attic until July.

I hope to find more deals on things I want before the day is over. How about you?

I'm watching Lands End every morning when they put up new items. Haven't found anything I want yet, but Monday morning they will be having down vests for women for $19. I might get one of those as a gift, maybe one for me too.

If you don't get one of the marked down items, the whole site is 30% off with free shipping over $50.

PS I want to get a T-shirt for my grandson with a dinosaur on the front. Saw a few on Amazon, but not sure of the sizing (he wears a 4). Any suggestions where I could shop for something like this?

I'm looking for three 37" t.v.s if anyone finds a great deal. I saw, on the news, that Amazon had them for $100, but I couldn't find any for that price.

I get the idea behind what you wanted to do with this thread, but it will just breed spammers. It's an open invention for anyone to post links to their website. So just be aware that if you visit any of the websites that get posted, that it wasn't posted by a real user, but just a commercial from a vendor pretending to be a real poster.

We did our Black Friday shopping at Kohl's online earlier today. Bought a new comforter set for the new bedroom set we bought last month for our guest room. If you buy $75 or more it was free shipping. The comforter set was $69 so we bought a much needed 1 qt sauce pan for $16. Used the free shipping code and I found another code for 15% off so the total bill was about $95. We got free shipping but because the comforter set is large, we had to pay a surcharge of $7.50 or so. Where ever you order from, Google the store name and the words Coupon Code and you will find other deals out there to bring the cost down. Jodi-

Good to know, Maire. I couldn't tell the difference when I bought one for Lizzie last year. I had bought down for me and for my DS and DIL, but they were out of stock when I wanted to get one for Liz. What did we ever do without online reviews? It's always fun to buy something that a slew of people have raved about.

I did go out on Friday to 2 stores, to get half price shoes, underwear, towels, socks and gloves for the teen shelter. While I was in the store, unfortunately, a hit and run driver bashed into my new (I've had it 2 weeks) car -- the one that is a replacement for the one that the tree fell on. Luckily there was a good Samaritan witness who left a description/partial plate # and contact info so I am hoping that the sheriff will track the culprit down. The local Kohl's had checkout lines winding around the entire store, even at 1pm! Went out again on Saturday to Menard's to take advantage of a few sale items there also, although I found that most of the things that I wanted were sold out. I was able to get a great deal on coffee pods for work. I also took advantage of a couple of "doorbuster" deals online to get a new coffeepot, a stick blender, and a packable down jacket for my planned travels next year. I took one with me last March and it was great to have, but it is a men's size in an ugly color -- so it was practical, but I wanted one that isn't oversize and looks nicer. Today I might order something unusual -- a deal offering food allergen testing for $55. I have been wondering about my reactions to breads and a few other things. I've long noticed that eating much tomato will make my arthritis flare up.

Picked up a pair of shoes from Auditon shoes and ordered some spice sets from Penzeys. They have 2 assortments of the smaller sizes, 8 small jars for only 19.95. Am looking for other deals.

Don't shop much online.
kayjones - walmart had some odd brand 32" TV's for $98 Thurs. A better one today is only $198. 39" is $298.

Lots of sites have 20% and/or free shipping. The one that I hoped would at least offer free shipping is Restoration Hardware, but no dice. I haven't seen free shipping from them in a long time. I had three items earmarked for gifts from RH, but I refuse to pay their ridiculous shipping.

On the tvs lots of qualifiers do you want led only do you want 1080p not 720?
Do you want smart tv with wifi? I would say yes to all of them if I were looking, some of the really cheap ones that I have seen are lcd but not led, and are 720, definitely not smart tv. So pretty old technology. Be sure to check all the specs!

Same way with tablets, seeing a lot of very low resolution and low end processors and in some cases old versions of Android.
Really important to read up on them.
