Help for family I posted about who lost the mama

A good friend of mine lost his 35 year old wife to cancer a week ago. He has 4 little ones, 12, 10 , 7 and 6. I know he isn't much for cooking, his wife did most until she got sick. I know that they have lots in the freezer and others still bringing food but know that won't last forever. I was hoping for some easy kid friendly dishes and recipes that I could print out and make a cookbook for him. My problem is most of what I cook is withouth recipes so hope that you can help. The little one's aren't picky which is good, but mac and cheese and hot dogs can get old. No allergies so any ideas would be great. Even some easy desserts and snack ideas would be appreciated. They spent their first night at home after staying at his folks on Saturday and it was tough. Also breakfast ideas, doesn't necessarily have to be recipes if you don't have them but ideas for quick healthy meals.

THanks everyone,

Stacie
