Sorry to confuse, LOL, that would be since March 2006 as you have gathered by now.

What with DH's health issues (now totally resolved), our move, and the birth of DGD, we just cancelled our 2007 plans. Now I am just itching to be somewhere with no errands or chores! Even for 5 days.

Stacy, hunker down...we are expecting heavy rains in our area of CT but if it is colder, well, 2 inches of rain could be crippling snow.

Tomorrow..is my #1 sons first Baseball game of the season..I'm so Psyched! I love watching him play ball!
Sunday if it's not raining, I'll be staining hubbies newly built TV stand, other than that..not much planned..

Feeling MUCHO better this week...even went back to work yesterday! I still feel very tired-I guess that is to be expected. I am coughing ALOT!!
BTW....I have a perscription for robitussin with codene. The directions say to take 2 tablespoons with a large glass of water. So here I am a 40 something year old gal with a drug that will make her cough, laced with a drug that makes her loopy, AND A FULL BLADDER!!!!
YIKES!! Is this some sort of joke?? I should just camp out in the rest room huh??

Took my mom out yesterday morn so I am free today. I will be baking a cake and doing some grilling-making up platters for Amy to take back to school next week-boy did spring break just fly by!!

Tomorrow both Drew and I have drs appt in the am and then I work. Sunday is still up in the air but no doubt will include some work!

This weekend is a carbon copy of so many lately. This weekend is Regionals for Science Olympiad. My son is on the JV team so he will be gone all day Saturday. He'll stop in for a couple hours then head off to a launch party for some video game... Mario Bros Melee maybe?

Yesterday was the last North Suburban Math League competition of the year. The kids weren't happy because they thought the could have done better, their main competitor won. I did not get the details yet because it was after 11:30 when he got home yesterday, I'm going to fall asleep at my keyboard! Wednesday was JETS (engineering team competition) and my son was on the JV team, they came in first so they will be ranked in State with the chance to be ranked Nationally. The Varsity team came in third. Busy, busy, busy!

I typed so slow that two more posts appeared in the meantime!
Ruddmd, sorry to hear the kids have been sick but I am happy to hear they are doing better. Taxes, YUCK! Ours are already done, my hubby had to do them in early Feb because of the FAFSA for college.

Susie, Glad you are feeling better! Half the people in my Hubbies office have that cough, hope yours gets better soon. My son's Doctor used to give him a prescription cough med with codine in it when he was a baby, it put him right to sleep. Try to get some rest on Sunday!

Shhhh! Don't bother me...I am enjoying the gentle spring rain....but it does seem to have an odd tendency to pile up....
Going out to dinner tonight with some friends...if the spring rain isn't too deep.

Happy Friday everyone!

I went off to Pilates this morning, after missing two classes due to a cold. Turned out I was the only one there as everyone else was off today for some reason or another so I had a one on one lesson with our monitor and did a good workout with both arms and legs in the stirrups on the reformer. Met English friends there at the club who had just been playing tennis and will go together with me and others to another charity luncheon on March 17th, St. Patrick's day. Will have to look for something green to wear....maybe just buy a scarf!

Weather is still warm but not as hot as yesterday.

Stopped at the supermarket on my walk home from the gym and bought more fresh fruit for our smoothies and the making of some yummy North American-style hot dogs for my supper tonight! Too bad we don't get Bick's green hot dog relish here....not a real hot dog without that but I will make do with a toasted bun, fried onions, an English pickled relish and neon mustard...yeah! I only get to taste good hot dogs about once a year when in Canada, but sometimes the craving just happens here as well. Luckily we get some decent smokey N.American wieners in the supermarkets here sometimes too. So I'm looking forward to tonight. What could be better than a good TV program and hot dogs with all the goop on top!

TGIF, everyone! I've been MIA for several weeks...just too much piled up to do. Happy Birthday to everyone I missed and I hope I only missed good news.

Just got back from Boise where I was on a state committee to award (or not) federal grants to libraries. It was nice to get somewhere where green grass was showing.

It's a beautiful sunny day here, but the dog can still stand on snow berms and look down at us through the windows. Today I need to play a little catchup at work and then I have an hour and 15 min. massage that DH gave me for Valentine's Day....ahhhhhh....

Tomorrow after work we'll run to Spokane to Costco and stock the fridge and buy some soil so I can start peppers and tomatoes. Sunday I hope to hunker down, bake some bread and 'enjoy' some of Linda's gentle spring rain. Hopefully it won't pile up too much. MAYbe I'll get some time to catch up with you guys. ~clink!~

Taxes... oh carp. Some of my documents got set aside and I can't remember where I put them... like my w2. Gov over collected as usual but I don't have the energy to do the forms. Housekeeper coming over Saturday! Dolly's human "grandmother" needs some extra money and I don't have the energy to take care of myself. If she can find the forms I can probably get them done. I'll probably propose marriage if she can find my keys and bring me a beer. No tv so the lost remote is a moot issue. Up for a promotion at work. I won't get it but stressed out anyway.

Hmmm... a clean kitchen and empty fridge. Sunday I can start the mess all over again! I really need to make some beer. Spring is on the way and a garden will need planting.... can't plant without beer?

TGIF everyone!
Iv'e been on the road all week so I have a lot to catch up on here. Had to deal with a snow storm in North Texas of all places last night and this morning...what happened to spring??? It's 20 flippin degrees here now with light snow...crazy for sure.

Another busy weekend here for me. Have some furniture being delivered in the morning then I'm off to the home and garden show at the fair grounds expo center. Sunday will be lots of chores and working in the yard some. All of the wind has covered my yard with branches and a few small limbs from the ice storm last December. Time to get all of that carp ready for taxes too....oh joy....where is the big check book...LOL!!

I'm skeered to check out the swaps, I'm sure I'm way behind on keeping up with that and the rest of the forum. I'll get to all of that some time too.

A late happy Friday and weekend to all.

I started the weekend by purchasing a new ref./freezer for the basement. The old one is about 17 years and is leaking water on the floor and inside too. The appliance store had a good sale, so they will deliver on Monday.

Saturday is clean out the pantry day, something that is long overdue. The whole mess will come out, a good wash down and new liner for the shelves. And dinner will be out!

Sunday I am going to the Flower and Garden Show for a taste of spring. They are calling for another 4 inches of snow, so I will dream. This is the longest winter....not even a sign of snowdrops yet.
