I suddenly lost my husband

bstajii

I am 46 and have three beautiful children to which my husband of 13 years gave me. On January 4th 2010 I awoke at 2:30 am to my husband making a gurgly sound, he wasn't breathing right. I believe he was unconscious he did not respond to me or look at me. I called 911, my son, 14 came in we got him on the floor so I could do CPR. FINALLY help arrived, I knew it wasn't good. My son and I went to the hospital while my two daughters, 10 and 11 stayed home with a friend. At the hospital, The ER DR. came in and said they worked on him a long time cause he was so young, 51, but when they went to defib him he flat lined. He died! Its been seven months and I'm still asking myself what the hell just happened!

bstajii,
I,m sorry for your lose. 7mths isn't a lot of time. grieving has no time measurement from what I can tell. You just go along and things slowly, very slowly get better. I will pray for you and your 3 children. All I can say is keep your head up and do the best you can and keep loving him.

May I suggest you log on to www.groww.org. They have a site for widows open from 7 PM to midnight Eastern time every night. It certainly helped me.

Here is a link that might be useful: GROWW
