Concerning my deceased husband

2 and a half years ago, my husband passed away.I have to do

this. I am gonna do this a little at a time. he was 62yrs old

this is gonna be a long one.I realize not good things can

happen in any hospital.and with doctors. my husband was in the v.a. hospital with pneumonia.they told me he'll be coming

home with a bipa machine for his breathing till he gets better.the day we were leaving the v.a. the nurse said;no bipa machine,they told me I would have to bring him back for

sleep study to get the bipa for his breathing. before his app

appointment he died. cause was respiratory insufficiency.

less than a month coming home from v.a. I woke up 1a.m. to

check my husband.I told him lay on your side not your stomach. there was no response. I jumped off bed and turned

him over his eyes were open.I yelled at him to wake up,I started cpr yelled for my son to call911 I lifted him to

to floor and continued cpr then my son helped.when they came

they told to go out of room,then they came out and said sorry your husband is gone. now I am gonna be typing 20 some yrs. of notes I have writing concerning my husband.

my husband was a marine he was send to cambodia. he became

a marine with normal eyes,was not deaf in his left ear,and

he had his teeth. I got my husband to back to the v.a. hospital over 20 yrs. ago he kept saying he always felt like

he had something in eye. this was when we where first together. they found a hangernade fragment going threw the

back of his eye.the v. a. took his eye out ,took the fragment out and said to my husband you get a purple heart

my husband don't want it, can it pay my bills's ? of course

not. the v.a. showed my husband the fragment,they did not

put in his records they took out a hangernade fragment out

of the back of his eye, they put in his something else.

at that time my husband had 20% disability not enought for

transportation back and forth to v.a. for apppointments.

I had to work nights and days at a diner. all of a sudden

i get a phone call from the v.a. telling me they are gonna

pick my husband for his appointments.not a v.a. van,a man

came to our door dressed in a black suit, tie , and cap and

a stretch limousine for his appointment at the v.a. and he

told my husband he can go any where for lunch,and he said

there was a bar in the limousine.my husband did't care about

that, he wasn't filling well.I tried to get answers about the limousine, I failed.that eye they took the fragment out

was never right.never got any % for that. that 20% was for

scar where my husband was shot below nose sinus area and blew his front top teeth out,and for a permanent broken left

wrist, that the military never set right. when first started

taking my husband back to v.a. it opened up a can of worms.

first they could not fine his records. over 20 yrs. ago when

I started taking notes about all this, my husband asked me

whey are you taking notes, I said it's for you. He said he

can get in trouble cause he had to sign a paper,to say nothing about cambodia. My husband's records say something

different. I kelp taking notes. I have to take a break now

this is just the beginning of this story.I'll be back.

I'm back please excuse some of my spelling. I have not been
on the computer for a couple of years. My son is helping
with the basics. Now to get back to my notes. when I took
my husband to v.a. nose,ear and throat doctor. doctor checked
his death ear, doctor asked him was he around any loud noises.
It was not a silence war. HIS EAR WAS ALL scar tissue,they
gave him hearing aids, It didn't work at all for his death
ear. and my husband's cartilage in his nose was disconnected
years later,they took his cartilage out, and put it back in
to reconnect it.when it was time to take him home the nurse
pulled the packing out. I came home from work around 1am
went and checked on my husband, he was laying in a pool
of blood.I called 911,they could not stop blood,coming out
of his nose and throat,they got him to hospital. they had to
repack his nose.he was very weak. Now when came to his front
blown out teeth,my husband told me back then there was a
argument whether it was dental or medical problem. He was
emotionally discussed. My husband said he went to a outside
dentist. got part upper top plate. then he told me his nose
was bleeding,he went back to v.a. they found there were
fragments from the Bullet in sinus area,they took them out.
When he starter getting a toothache. the v.a. told me,my
husband didn't have enough % to see dentist there, only if
he was already in hospital. a week later he was in hospital.
I rolled him down to dental, they took xrays, the dentist
told me to bring him back and will pull out his bad teeth.
so I did. when I brought my husband back to dental, there
was a different dentist,he took out teeth, found out he took
out the wrong teeth,he made a mistake,so now he pulled the
rest of his teeth.they had to make upper and lower dentures!
The dentist looked at the xray before he pulled my husband's
teeth and though the x's on teeth were suppose to stay.
none of this mistakes was put in his records. now he has
100% dental with no teeth. got to take a break.

work at all for his death ear.and his cartilage was disconnected in his nose.years later
the v.a. did take it out and put it back and reconnected it.

I'm back. even if no one reads all this, with a lot of mistakes,I'm still going to do this. I watched my husband
suffer with pain and depression for over 20 years. He also
had post dramatic stress. My husband could not drive cause
he wonder from one side to other side of lane, it scared me.
He use to say to I'll drive, I said no thats all o.k. I'll drive. because of his eyes. I'll be back. I'm back. my husband worked in between operations and appointments.I remember the chief of staff asked asked my husband how did you with stand the pain all this time when you tried to work? My husband said I drank some beers to cover up the pain,after work. Before I get back to my notes. I was my
husbands third wife. He found out fast I was different.I
wasn't with him for what he can give me. He said to me I
wasn't put on this earth to be happy. I was put here to
try take care of things.the more I did they kept coming
back. My husband started telling me things he did't tell
anyone else. no matter what my husband said I am a marine.
taking a break now I'll be back.

Meyer is the most nit-pinicky plant I know. I have 3 meyers and I have the same problem before. They are now looking very healthy. If I were you, that is if I were you I would dig that meyer and plant it again in a pot the same size as when you have it. Right now it is in shock and it may go if you are not careful. I think that being in a pot you can take care of it better. You can regulate the temperature for one thing and the pH of the soil. Dig it so you don't bother the roots at all. At this time it may have root rot by now. You said you damaged the roots while transplanting. You should have cut the branches off in proportion with the damage roots because one of the reasons you lost most of its leaves is because the roots can not sustain the leaves demands for water/nutrients because of the roots ' removal. It is not too late for you to trim more of the branches even when they are green. You will see they will bounce back with very green new buds once the tempt goes up. Don't believe the other's that you'll hurt the tree. Don't be afraid to cut the leaves and leave just a few. Second don't give any any fertilizer this time. The roots is not ready to take in fertilizer because it is still in shock. The less fertilizer it consumes the better it is. The first time you transferred it to a pot drenched the pot wiith lots of water. You want the salts and the fertilizers out of the soil at this time. Run a trckling water to the pot maybe 20 minutes until you can be sure all the salts are gone. Then put a transparent plastic cover over the plants and create a 3 to 4 holes as big as quarters on top. Now put it on the window sill but not in direct sunliight for about 5 days. Or until you see new buds are coming out. Then that is the time you can fertilize at 1/4 the dose. Use the miracid by Miracle grow fertilizer at 30-10-10 use for azealia/rhoddendrum/ camelia fertiler . Don't water it anymore until the 1st 2 inches of soil is dry. It is better to trim the tops right now to better serve the leaves by the remaining roots.Make sure the soil is every fast draining. A good mix is 1/3 sand 1/3 peat 1/3 top soil. I hope you don't have root rot at this time. Check it first. If your roots is still healthy I am sure your tree will recover. Treat it just like a sick child. Only clear liquids, no solids and rest. Lots of it.

I haven't read all of these messages. But I have to tell you that I grew up in a home where my step father treated us like DIRT! Kids were to be seen and not heard! That was his favorite line! At 16 I was ready to move out on my own. Life was horrible. I got NOTHING- yelled at, told I was lazy- you name it. I had to buy my own school clothes my own everything. He controlled the whole household. I never got a kind word spoken to me, never a praise, never a pat on the back. No help for college. NOTHING.... He had his own two kids, to this day he still supports them. They are both lossers. But those two kids got anything they every wanted. I didn't want much REALLY As hoaky as it sounds, I just wanted a dad! Someone I could call dad again- not Phil. I was about 12- had lost my dad two years previous. I missed my dad- I missed my family- we moved out of state. It was a sad childhood. My mom was the calming force. She kept the peace. But it wasn't enough. The constant stress from the day to day living with this man. I stayed out of the house as much as possible. I had a horse. I rode for hours. When that wasn't enough I found a boyfriend. At a very young age I became more 'involved' with my boyfriend then I should have. I worked, anything not to be home. I HATED it! As an adult I would wait for the man I was dating to turn into Phil. See, he wasn't always like he was when my mom married him. He was actually one of the nicest men I had ever met. Until the vows were exchanged. We weren't bad kids. We accepted him. He never could or would for us. I can't stress enough what your doing to your daughter. SHE WILL NEVER forget this. You are destroying her piece by piece. My advice is to leave this man. You will get over the loss- she just might never get over what he is doing to her! I know this man your married! Not in the literal sense, but I LIVED THIS...... I still think about my 'lost' childhood from time to time. But you know what, I BEAT him.... I'm succesfull! I'm happily married with two kids. I have a wonderfull relationship with my mom and brother. And my husband is NOTHING LIKE HIM! My mom left him about 6 years ago. Sad it took that long. My brother who was younger then me, lived with him from a small boy up. I see the horrible traits of Phil in my brother. My brother grew up thinking he was dumb. He drifted from job to job. NEVER a harder worker, but he had trouble reading and writing. So he'd drop the job as soon as more responsiblity was sent his way. It was sad.... He's just recently regained some of his self esteem. He's 29 years old! Took him all this time. He's found his place in life. So have I! Guess what! I can even eat food in my living room LOL.... So can my kids.. I'm sorry if this is harsh and I'm sorry it most likely didn't make sense. If it helps your 16 year old daughter then I'll sleep better at night.... HUGS to you and your daughter. Kristi

Iam going though the same thing. He complains about everything my daughters do. My 2 daughters 20 and 30 and my 7 Grandbaby. He does not talk to them for days. Every night when we go to bed he starts to bitch about them from they eat all the food, they r lazy and wht doesn’t my oldest get child support I tell him that is her business not ours. Well a couple week ago he told them to start paying rent 300.00 a each. They only make 9.00 my 20 pays To own car payment insurance and credit cards, my 30 old pays her bills and the day care bill of 400 a month. I told him they can’t afford that he don’t care and if they don’t like it they move out. He get mad if I buy anything for them. He says u always get defensive I tell I don’t I just don’t know why u treat them like that. They don’t disrespect you. In the other hand they stay in there rooms to not bother you. If they come to talk to me he starts asking wht do they want. He like making fun of my granddaughter( calling a cry baby) and my 20 (making fun of her weight)I tell him to stop and plays it off like I am kidding. Well two weeks ago my daughter told me she can afford the 300 she said I can afford 150. I thought buy telling her to go speak to her step dad he would listen and respect that she came to him and. It to me. I was listening to her explain the situation well he said that’s not my problem and just kept repeating it. Well she started crying and she told him. Why do u treat us like dirt. W you hve never like us and I hate the way u treat mom. Yes she did get load then I stepped in. He lost it and told to pack her stuff and get out. Then told me it’s them or me in front of her. She apologized to me saying she does not what to ruin my marriage. Well my girls r moving out at the end of the month but that is still not good enough. Now he is saying I don’t want them to come over. I was really. Now my son came to visit and he is telling me he is not staying here. I told him he is staying this week to help her sister with daycare. He was who gave him permission I was what. It turn into a huge fight. He said they do what ever they want to do. Mind me he has not spoken one work to him cause he is still mad at my youngest for the fight they had. He told if u don’t tell him to leave buy Sunday Iam going to. I was wtf. Those r my kids and this is my house. He said again Iam tried we should separate i was like look if that’s why u want go ahead. I know u hate my kids. He stayed quite and goes into the room and sulks. Iam i wrong for defending my kids. They have never disrespected him. Iam so over this fight with him.

USPS tracking still shows my phone pending delivery next week. I had hoped to have it for the weekend to post photos of our YoYo. No such luck. He is unbelievably cute but maybe should have been named CHEWbacca so says my husband. I don't think that I previously posted about an issue with my husband. He is fairly easy going and easy to get along with. Not long ago I did get irritated because he doesn't want to go out much anymore but I do not think I posted about it.I could be wrong?! As a rule I do not post on forums often and when I do its usually because I am upset about something and for whatever reason do not want to discuss it with IRL people. My plan when I post is to take the first few responses and thank the posters for their interest, then move on using their information/help. It never fails as it goes on that so much more gets read into a relationship/friendship and it leaves one to either ignore that response and the responder, or to defend/deny/explain. Anyhoo all is good and we love our big little guy. Thank you all.

My Daddy was a marine. Its true that once a marine, always a marine!
My dad also went through many trials with the VA here in NC. He had to travel to Durham to get medical, mental and dental treatments. For years he was in and out of VA hospitals for his post tramatic stress disorder. His % of disability? 10% for over 20 years and he fought it! He finally won. Was granted 100% with back pay and interest!
