$1300 is a lot of money but it should pay for itself over the span of yrs. I was just considering a water harvest system myself, the 1/2acre that we bought, has 4 45 gallon drums for water, that I have had stored away as I wasn't using them, but have hauled themout and was going to make some mesquito screens over them...I also saw an ad on craigslist for a 250gal tank for 100. Hmmm, wonder if I could use it off my shed? DH is always on about the water bill, and so this might help my poor garden from his shutting off the watering system just cuz there's a trickle of rain...hmmm. It's certainly worth it to me, I put a lot of hrs into my flower garden, just to see it die of thirst!!! I envy my neighbors down the road, they have a well that they use for just their gardens, and use municipal water for their home...ahhh, their gardens are like walking into a dream!!!! I am recently giving my yard another TOTAL makeover as I had to put deer fencing up so I could have some plants!!! Now I am rethinking the previous owners style of layout and coming up with my own, so this is a great topic for me...thanks for posting!

You really need to see an Certified Diabetic Educator....you will get so much information about diabetes including dietary guidelines. I used to be a diabetic educator and I can not emphasis enough how important seeing a specialist in diabetic education is. It is the best thing you can do for yourself. I had many patients whose doctor gave them so little information or just told them to avoid sugar....they had no information of symptoms of high blood sugar, low blood sugar or the complications that may occur. Please, please, please seen a Certified Diabetic Educator. Call your local hospital or home health agency for a referral....your doctor may not think it is necessary but truly, it is!

I'm A+. One time I had a miscarriage and doctor sent me to the hospital. The next morning I was ready to leave and they said they would discharge me but first I had to take a shot to protect future pregnancies, because I was A-. I said, "No, I am A+. I am not taking the shot." A little argument ensued, as I was getting ready to leave. They called my doctor and he said to re-test me. The guy from the lab came, and said, "I don't know why they want a re-test, because you are A+. They wrote it on your chart wrong." I said a few choice words to them and left. Maybe the shot wouldn't have hurt me...that's not so much the point. It wouldn't have done me any good...and what if I had needed a blood transfusion from these clowns? Hospitals are dangerous places and any time someone goes, you need to be on your toes all the time.

Hubby and I both tried the oils CBD and THC and it didn't work for us. We wanted it for anxiety mostly and to help us sleep. He didn't have much pain, from his cancer so that wasn't an issue. I didn't like the taste of it......tastes strongly of a pine tree. I'd put a few drops in a drink, hubby put a few drops under his tongue----the preferred method. My brother has pain in his knees and I gave the rest of the oil to him. Didn't help him either. One time I took a few drops, when I hadn't taken it for a while. You're supposed to go into it gradually.....start with 2 drops and work your way up over a period of time. I put my usual 5 drops in my drink and I was bouncing off the walls going to bed, the room was spinning, I thought I was having a heart attack or stroke or something. I laid in bed and the room was spinning there too. Wow, if that's a good time, people that take this stuff can have it. I hated it, and was terrified. I hate not having control of my body and mind.
