Easiest way to freshen up a small area of concrete patio

We had to tear out a DOA spa tub and surrounding decking and it's left a mess on the concrete slab beneath. There are some holes, nails in it and dings but mostly discoloration. I can pressure wash some off but it will still look really bad.

Any ideas on how to get it to look clean and nice or new - that are possibly easy DIY/inexpensive? Some kind of rubberized skim coat of something? The whole area is only 140 square feet, but we really don't want to put in pavers or have it sandblasted etc.

One thought was to do green grass type indoor/outdoor carpet and make it a little putting green area (the house is on a golf course) - this section of patio is all under roof.

Here's a pic -
