I want to clarify something for anyone reading this. People think they are getting the best prices by going to NC or shopping online. Experience has shown that all is well that ends well but there is more to this story. If you do have a problem, it will cost you far more than you ever dreamed. But I'd like to suggest another scenario for consideration that hasn't been addressed here. What happens when there are no more storefronts to go visit to see the product that you are then ordering from someone else? If everyone patronizes the online stores only or the furniture places in NC, what happens to our local business? Cheapest isn't always the best. And one person hwere was correct that the local stores are supporting your programs through their taxes. Why would you want to take your business to another state? Just a thought...but a good one. And good luck to you if you do get furniture shipped. You may get lucky...but then again, are you willing to risk it? I'm just a consumer, by the way, who has made mistakes like this before. I speak from experience and now wisdom.... Help keep our storefronts in business....it is good for you and our economy.

Hi, Well, we moved to a new house that has a smaller double car garage than our previous house so I had to really think and plan. I bought the Black and Decker module kits from Lowes. They took time to put together, and boxes are very heavy, - requiring tools, but so far I am enjoying them. Have a large closet, workbench with pegboard and cabinet/drawer units under it, and a roll along drawer unit. It was pricey but I wanted something nice looking. It's been very handy and I have room for all my "guy toys." There are quite a few other brands and some frequently go on sale, like Sears and Home Depot. It all comes down to $$$$ and how handy you or someone else is in building them, and how much room you have. For garden tools, there are specific racks for that, both hanging and stationary on the floor. Post a picture of your garage and maybe someone can give you suggestions.

Diane, sounds like another great family gathering! I remember when I first tried the yorkshire puddings for the frist time thanks to this forum. It was Ann, CindyNY, and Sharon that shared their recipes and tips. Cindy posted a pick of a big one in a 9 x 13 inch pan....I'm guessing you would just add enough drippings from the steak to coat the pan very well..1/8 of an inch??,,,heat it up in the oven and then add the batter....I remember it rising up along the sides of the pan and being somewhat less on the bottom....just like it should for the most part if you made individual ones. I would do this method for a big group....even it they have to wait for a second pan of them depending upon how many ovens you have. Cover and steam 5-8 minutes or until crisp-tender. Immediately plunge into cold water to stop the cooking process; drain and pat dry. TOSS together green beans, onion, cheese, and pecans in a large bowl. Cover and chill 1 hour. WHISK together olive oil and next 5 ingredients; cover and chill 1 hour. If it is not staying tight, pretwist is your friend. And you might be using the wrong size nut. I disagree with ron on the pretwisting (again everyone has their own opinion on this). I have taken off various nuts not pretwisted and the wires are completely loose, or they arced so much that they were welded together and I couldn't get the nut off. When I take off a nut on my pretwisted connections they are still together tight. So the claim that pretwisting does little in the long run is wrong. I have read an entire thread on a different forum of people going back and forth on this so whatever works for you. I personally have had to redo a lot of junction boxes with loose connections done by someone else and have never had a problem with my connections. The connections of mine that I have undone were for later modifications and they were just as tight as ever after taking the nut off. One of the valid arguments against pretwisting is that when that is all you do all day it is extra wear on your wrist, which I agree with. If the nut alone could twist the wire and get it tight and keep it tight then I wouldn't pretwist, but I have not experienced that in the limited electrical work I have done.
