I have no experience with any local company so I can't comment. You might try attending the Rhode Island spring flower show (Feb. 18-21 http://www.flowershow.com/). They have several vendors' exhibits there. The New England Flower show usually held in Boston isn't happening this year. They are doing something in March spread between two buildings somewhere and calling it "The Boston Flower Show" instead, so I don't know what will be there. I had a small single glazed fiberglass greenhouse years ago, and I would strongly recommend double (or even triple) glass or polycarbonate glazing in your climate. It will pay for itself in heating cost savings, trust me! It cost me a fortune to heat mine, and it was only 10x12 and that was using 1970's priced fuel! Also, the thicker walls mean better control of temperature with less fluctuation.

KBSpider, I guess I missed the part about it being glazed--it has a matte finish, so I didn't think of that. Good to know. Glad to hear it's easy maintenance. Teachertile, Easier to work with sounds good! Can you tell me a little more about epoxy grout? How is it compared to regular grout (whatever that's made of)? Pros/cons of each? Is there a particular brand you would recommend? Also, I've just started doing my research and have read that you can get caulk that is color matched with the grout. Can you do that with the epoxy grout? Should the caulk be the same brand as the grout? Sorry for all the questions, but I'm just starting to get things together for the backsplash. Suzannes, Thank you for posting the photo---much easier. I appreciate your comments on the oak cabinets. DH loves them, and I don't hate them. I do tend to like calmer, cleaner lines, so it probably wouldn't be my first choice, but I think/hope things are coming together pretty well. We did clean them well and, then, DH went over them with a light coat of stain. It really did revive them quite a bit, and, as I said, they are well built. Our kitchen has some design flaws that I would correct if we were doing a full-scale remodel, but that isn't going to happen. So, instead, we're trying to make it the best it can be---sprucing it up, rearranging what is in some cabinets, and adding varius organizational elements to make it work as efficiently a possible. I'm choosing to be pleased with what I can do rather than focusing on what else could have been done. I still have to figure out the hardware. About a year ago, in anticipation of doing this, I did pick up a number of handles to see what looked best; now, with almost everything else done, I'm going to have to start all over. But that's the subject of another post, I think.

Joseph - I apologize for so many questions! I was looking at the Sink Strap and they also recommend these LC Brackets for tight situations. I will have three sinks to install and one of them will only have extra 1.5" width to play with so I am thinking these LC Brackets would be a better fit. Do you have any experience with these? The other vanities will have 7.5" extra width to play with so probably need the strap on these but I like the idea of just LC Brackets on all three sinks and no straps. Jellytoast, I am sure you thought I forgot to post the outcome . Today, the patio FINALLY got fixed...the right way, It has been quite a challenge to get here, but I did not give up! . The sales representativ from Landmark even came by and another expert and both agreed that the installation was incorrect. I tried to find another contractor to fix this since the original one did not seem to want to fix it, although the said he would pay for the fix. One guy came by and then never got back to me, so it was quite a hassle. When the Landmark representative offered to come by as he was planing a visit to my area, I asked the original guy if he could meet him. He explained him why the original installation and the fix were both wrong and how to fix it. It took some time until we were able to schedule some time. The Landmark guy (who has been very helpful) also recommended a newer type of acrylic joint sand that was hard to get here, so that delayed it a little. I had to micromanage the workers and one guy almost got fired. The third attempt didn’t start off perfect, even though I had even given them a written list with what needed to happen, but the next team listend when I told them what and how to do it. They finally used the spacers, the correct space between the pavers and the perfect sand (Techniseal HP Netxgel) that the Landmark guy approved. So far, I am now very happy with the result. I almost can’t believe it is finally over and I can enjoy my patio. I have to wait a couple of weeks to wash the haze off from the second attempt,, but I was shown that this would be easy.
