Before deciding, please take a look at photos of the pricey WH sofa I just ordered (see link above and scroll down). It took 10 months to arrive, and I found the quality of the tailoring to be sub-standard. Reviews on WH are now mixed, so I'm wondering if they are having quality control issues.

I know this is a super old thread but maybe there are other people searching for Massoud and not finding anything. So I want to help before you make the mistake we made. We don't have experience with Thomasville or H&M. Our favorites are Hickory White, Henredon and Ethan Allen. We just bought 2 Marge Carson sofas, and the fabric was pilling badly after 2 weeks of use (they say it was a QC issue and they are sending replacement covers). Now let's talk Massoud: We bought 2 club chairs that were very expensive. Fabric is gorgeous, craftsmanship looks fine, but the upholstery material is cheap and flimsy. It feels like dorm room seat cushions you buy at Walmart. It even makes a little crunchy noise when you sit. Seriously. My husband is a tall 250lbs man, and he seats in the chairs for more than 30 min and the seat is crushed, and it takes a day to go back to normal. We flip the seat and back pillows DAILY and still, they are embarrassingly crushed after 2 months of use. This is extremely disappointing and we are beating ourselves up for having believed that $$$$ equaled quality. Don’t buy Massoud!

I will never, repeat never, purchase a piece from Thomasville. Long story short, upon delivery of furniture last year the store's delivery people not only did over $2k damage to our newly finished foyer (hardwood floor, new oak stairs treads gashed, baseball size hole in my drywall) they cracked the frame of the sofa. It was one bizarre experience and T'ville local rep and corporate were ulitmately zero help. Corporate rep was initially nice, but kept bouncing me back to the store, saying it was between us and them to work it out. I was not ungracious or rude at any point. I simply wanted the set replaced via a different vendor. (It was not a finalized sale, so no warranty work came into play.) The store ulitmately agreed to refund our $, but only if we went to their attorney's office to get it and sign a release. That's the point when communication with T'ville corporate came to a screeching halt. I received an email that since an attorney was now involved they could not speak to us any further about the matter. (Again the store retained an attorney before they would give us a refund, not us.) It truly was one of the most bizarre experiences we've ever been through. My first and last experience with T'ville. I opted not to get that same furniture from a different vendor, because if a problem occurred under warranty I had grave doubts about the company's cooperation. So I went elsewhere. Don't let them pull this with you. DH does woodworking, where the arm joins the body is only weak if they construct it badly (otherwise cracking chair arms would be a common issue across the board, no?). Don't accept the nailed/puttied repair, then it will definately and permanently be a weak spot.

Les, they won't do COM. The two chairs I was considering were the A6621 and A6690. I was wanting a stripe. I just couldn't find one with colors that worked. Perhaps some of them were checked out . I amy check back again to see if any different ones come in. It would seem with that many fabrics I should be able to find something.LOL I didn't realize that I could look at their fabrics online. Thanks for telling me about that. Dgmarie, thanks for your feedback. I remember your swivel chairs and I think I found your fabric when I was looking at the Wesley Hall fabrics.
