HELP - Cream or Burgundy Leather ?

After 6+ months of shopping we have arrived at the sofa that we want for our Family Room - The Peninsula by Elite Leather. The armless look of this leather sofa, combined with the perfect low profile (we are not that tall) and down cushions make this sofa the most comfortable one we have experienced.

We are trying to decide between a cream or burgundy leather. The cream color is what this sofa seems to be designed for. It contrasts with the dark ebony wood trim and side tables of the sofa, making a clean, cool, modern look. With a lighter color, there are a lot of options and flexibility with accent colors that we could choose. However with an 8 month old that will be growing to a toddler soon we are concerned of any "accidents" that may make themselves evident on a light colored sofa.

The burgundy leather looks great too. The burgundy complements the dark ebony wood trim. making the look more on the warm side. And also we think the darker color will better conceal the turmoils of daily life with young growing kids. But we aren't sure if a darker color is something that this design of sofa is designed for - is it wrong?

With our room we are trying to achieve elements of a mid-century modern look - which seem to be cooler. However we also like elements of arts and crafts - which seems to be warmer. The looks of Frank Lloyd Wright could be the blend of the two that we come towards.

Here is a pic of the sofa. We have seen this in a couple of different stores, always in a cream color.

These are the two colors we are considering:
