Steak Gravy over Biscuits

While reading the secret cravings thread, someone mentioned bits of meat added to gravy so thin you could eat it like soup.

My daughter's favorite breakfast is one we do after having chicken-fried round steak the night before.

I dice the leftover steak in small pieces. I use the same skillet from the night before with all the bits and pieces of flour and cooked out meat juices and some fat....add enough butter to make a roux. Make a milk gravy from that. Cook slowly scraping all the goodies from the bottom of the skillet. Toss in the steak bits. Heat thoroughly.

Serve over opened biscuits hot from the oven.

I must admit I love it too.
