Snowed in! Ideas for stretching supplies

Here in Baltimore, we are having the second blizzard within a week. The first one gave us more than 2 feet of snow, and today's forecast is for an additional 20 to 30 inches. The neighborhood streets are impassable, and it may be another week or more before I can dig my car out and get to the supermarket again. I normally keep my pantry and freezer well stocked, especially in winter, and I managed to do a little "emergency" shopping before the first storm. But it has been almost 2 weeks since my last full shopping trip, and I'm running low on some items. I'm already thinking of ways to conserve and stretch the foods we have on hand.

Last night, when using seasoned bread crumbs, I mixed in some flour, so I wouldn't use up the bread crumbs. I can use water instead of milk for mashed potatoes. I cut dill pickle spears in half, so they'll last twice as long. I've made several stir-fry's, stews, and pasta dishes, so I can get away with using less meat (I'd make soup, too, but I don't have any celery or carrots). I'm also trying to maintain portion control, but with two big eaters (DH and my cousin, who lives with us), it's hard to ask them to rein in their appetites, so I have to fill them up somehow. I'd love suggestions on how to stretch the foods I have on hand, when I can't replenish my supply. (This isn't exactly the same as stretching foods to save money, but I guess some of the same strategies would apply.)
