Have to agree, especially the B52's "Love Shack". A very happy song.

teacats - I made a similar CD a couple of years ago and I put "I Hate Myself For Lovin You" on it. Joan Jett was one of my favorites when I was younger. She was kind of like the 80's version of Pink.

I have all those on my iPod playlist. And FWIW, if the budget allows I would recommend treating yourself to an iPod if you don't have one already. You can set up tons of playlists and keep so much music. And it's portable, so you can have some cheering up sounds with you at all times!

Also, "Shake Your Groove Thing." (no--really!!) While you're stopped in traffic, you hear this and cannot keep from singing and boppin' and even tho the driver next to you is pointing and laughing, you just don't care!
