I ordered five pieces of furniture from Elite on 1/24/2007 to be delivered in California. Two pieces were Sligh, and three were Sherrill case goods. Have had good communication with Elite, but the items have not shipped as yet. Elite's prices were approximately the same as LexFurniture and Beautiful Rooms, and at least 30% less than Boyles.

I have to choose Elite Interiors since only they carry Elite Leather sofa. However, I do notice a lot of people in this forum agree that Elite's price is competitive but most people finally go with Lexington and don't know why. From BBB, it seems Elite only have 10 employees. I am worried the manufactures may tend to delay orders from smaller company. That could potential affect the delay with order from Elite. Is that true? eweneek1, could you tell me what drive you choose Elite and how's your experience so far? Thank you very much.

I ordered 2 pieces of furniture from Elite. First one on Feb 20, and the second on Feb 26. I worked with Christine at Elite. She has been quick to return phone calls and emails, as well as being very pleasant. When I ordered she said it would be 8-12 weeks for the furniture to arrive.

I got an email from Christine last Wednesday (3/28) letting me know our furniture is in their warehouse in NC. It will be loaded on the next truck heading this direction. She said we would have it in 2-3 weeks.

Assuming she is correct about the time, we would have the furniture within 7-8 weeks from the time I ordered. Sounds good to me.

When the furniture arrives, I will post an update. (If I can find this thread.)

We ordered a chair and ottoman from Lexfurniture in November. It arrived quicker than we were told it would be here. Everything with that transaction went very smoothly. From ordering to delivery. I don't know of any way it could have been better.

Hope I can give you a good update in a couple of weeks.

Our furniture arrived this morning from Elite Furniture. Everything is perfect!!!

I got a call last week from someone at Elite that the furniture would be here this week and she said she would call again this week to give me a firm date and time. She called yesterday and told me the truck would be here between 8am and noon today.

A big "Hancock Transport" truck arrived about 10:30am. The guys were very pleasant. They were careful while un-crating the furniture and equally careful bringing it into the house.

I felt as though I was "holding my breath" as they unpacked the furniture. I checked all the drawers and doors. I tried to check everything I could think of while they were still here. Everything looks perfect.

Overall, I have to give Elite a 10 out of 10 points. They delivered in about 7 weeks when they said it would be 8-12 weeks. Their price was better than anyone we called or checked with locally. They were careful with the delivery of our new furniture. I recommend them!

Judy, thank you very much for your updates. Good to know it is great. I just made an order recently from Elite and are waiting for the furniture anxiously. Hopefully it is a pleasant experience.

This thread has been informative, and I'd like to hear other people's opinions on Elite too. They offered me the lowest quote by more than 10% on a sofa-set, but I'm a little wary...
