Has anyone had experience with the Toro LX427 riding mower?
Comments (5)I've had a Toro lx427 for about one year bought it used I will tell you if you buy one used take down all the part numbers and verify the part numbers are for a Toro mine is hard to find parts for because it's been modified so be carful when buying one and ask the right questions 1 has the deck been replaced if so from what model or was it new from factory by the way those are over 300 for just the bare shell 2 when was the last time the oil was changed 3 does it have a new motor as they have an hour meter on them 4 when was the drive train last serveced 5 has there been any modifications to the drive system other wise yes very good mower I use mine at my house and I also use it on others lawns very good mowing very good with a plow not sure about a thrower but yes I'm sure it will do fine with one mine has a 20 horse Kohler couage very good motor I would suggest if you get a thrower to get the weight rack not the wheel weights wheel weights are more expensive I know stupid but true I've done my research and get a set of chains they are about 70 for a set of two be carful on which ones you buy some are quick release and the prongs break easy better off buying the ones that slip over the tires and strap in...See MoreMeganite countertops....has anyone had any experience with them?
Comments (1)I did a google search "meganite review" and this complaint board popped up. It doen't sound like most of the folks liked it very much, claiming it scratched and marked easily. I found very , very limited info about this product on the web at all. Personally, I would not try a product that seems to have a very limited track record. Here is a link that might be useful: meganite reviews...See MoreHas anyone had success growing cuttings from lemon trees? any advice?
Comments (25)I think that getting a grafted tree is much better even if it is container grown. I would look for a tree grafted to a rootstock that boasted resistance to wet feet and root rot problems, It is in the winter that many people have their problems with to much/little water. I live in Cincinnati, zone 6, OH and my best 2 trees are in ground planted. My best on put on 60-80 feet of twig growth between October 2014 and May 2015. These trees are under glass in winter...See MoreHas anyone had experience purchaisng from Signature Hardware?
Comments (19)I have purchased faucets, a Kohler toilet, and a washbasin with legs from Signature. All were very good quality, their customer service was superb, and 7 years later, everything works quite well and still looks very good. I bought one bathroom of polished chrome, one of polished nickel and one of polished brass (footed tub fixtures)....See Morediggerdee zone 6 CT
