Thanks for the info Sheri. I am going to have a metallurgist at the company look at the bolts. The base bolts appear to be stainless. I have the FED X number for the replacement parts. HF has been very good about making the shipping damage right, but they would save themselves a lot of money by packaging the houses better. I guess that they are used to shipping tools. As you know the instructions leave a LOT to be desired, so I might be asking for more help. Thanks again!

Great stuff rider - nice to see the pics. Please do provide updates on the decking with almost a year's use?! We would love to see the underside as well. FYI, we are looking at installing a full aluminium deck with aluminium joists/under frame and support posts for our new build in Horseshoe Valley, Ontario, Canada. Our prime objective is for a durable, maintenance free decking option. Wood look and feel is less of a concern or priority. We have been searching and reading all available reviews online (which are very limited and not up-to-date) and are still puzzled on which product/company to go for. Being in Canada we are limited to only a few local companies, i.e. CraftBuilt - seems to be your typical aluminium decking product & SigmaDek - the new 'Ferrari' of decking with the price tag to go with it. We also have been in contact with Wahoo, Versadeck, LockDry, Last Deck, etc but with them being in the US and very little to no representation/distributors in Canada we are worried if warranty - product issues arise in the future. It would be great to here more reviews especially with decks/products that are waterproof/resist the weather as we have a walkout underneath the deck that we will turn into a dining/lounge area. We are looking at a deck size of approx 12' x 30' or slightly wider.

Lynn, it's either this one or very like. Kind of similar to cast-iron, but much lighter. The label didn't say anything about powdercoating, but the website says it's powdercoated, so that makes me worry less. Angc, I feel your pain. We bought a Target Mission-style dresser last year, and it fell apart within a year. Only $275, cheap as dressers go, but for me it was an expensive learning experience, and a mistake I don't want to make again! Were your chairs folding chairs or extruded aluminum like this loveseat? We'd have the loveseat under a patio, like your chairs, but yours is the outcome I'm hoping to avoid. We have two quotes so far. Two are frameless to ceiling glass options with one continuous rail on one side only, rail in steel. Prices came in at $9,200 and 10,500. We are still waiting in a quote for a framed in glass option with powder coated aluminum. Not that it matters as it’s just a line item for now but $6700 has been budgeted for it. So far builder is bang on with his railing quotes as the exterior railings came in at slightly under budget. So we know the high end but not the lower for sure yet. Should get the concrete numbers early this week.
