Sauted Greens - Mmph, not impressed

I tried both rainbow chard and kale sauteed in olive oil and garlic, salt pepper, shot of red wine vinegar at the end. I don't know how it works but its just...flavorless chewy green stuff. I didn't hate it and could eat it fine and did since I know its good for me but I don't get it. The rainbow chard was more palatable than the kale which I liked less.

Never tried fresh spinach - would it be significantly better?
