The best bamboo flooring in my opinion is made by Teragren. I'm sure a google search will come up with their site.

Bear76: Did you purchase and install the Roy's Bamboo flooring from Sam's Club? We are considering putting it in our home office, and I would love some feedback from someone who has actually installed it, as to whether or not they are pleased. It looked really good in the display.

I haven't put down the Roy's Bamboo I purchased from Sam's and since Sam's suddenly stopped carrying it and Roy's internet site www.roysflooring.com, which was there a week ago and which I can't access now, seems to be gone. I haven't been able to find another dealer for Roy's Bamboo online and I needed more flooring to complete the job. I guess I'll try and sell this flooring in the want ads, do my homework next time, look for a more reliable source than Sam's and start over. I'd be interested in other's experiences and if anyone knows of a source other than Sam's if I should want more of this product.

I put it down in my living and dining rooms. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY.

It looks beautiful when you first put it down but it scratches if you look at it crooked.

I was very careful to put pads under the legs of the dining room chairs and table. With no weight on the chairs, the floor still scratches. We never use this room so I would hate to see what the floors would look like if someone sat in the chair and pushed back from the table.

I called Roy to find out what to do about the scratches and was told to buy a box of Crayons and color them in!

I am so disappointed in this floor. I went to a lot of trouble and $600 worth of glue to do this right and the floor is a disaster after just 2 years.

I wouldn't buy a floor product at a retailer like Sams or at Home Depot for a few reasons. I just looked at flooring today at a local store who stocks pallets of wood. They had one product I liked but the salesman showed me how easy it scratched vs a similar product made by someone else. An independent retailer will sell what doesn't create a lot of comploaints from installers or customers. A box store will only sell what they have in stock. There is a big difference. Teragren grows their own bamboo vs buying from lots of suppliers. They ahve always been the best in bamboo. Scratching isn't warrantied by anyone so basing a buying decision based on scratches isn't really the best criteria.
