Ok Fenworth that strikes a cord...when dh & I were dating he took me away for a long weekend to nice B&B in VT (dinner was included). Obviously we were trying to impress each other back then so when he asked "What's (the) Soup du Jour?", I responded, "it means soup of the day"...he gave this "No kidding you dumb bunny" look. We still laugh about it everytime we go out to dinner and that is listed on the menu.
