guys can be that way, grant learned his lesson last spring when he got so sick. he missed all that work. it was so bad. he was glued to the couch. i so love this group of people!!! so caring for each other!! oh becky i tell ya the best thing i ever did was go to sallys beauaty sallon and buy one of them wax thingi's for 19 bucks. and then i bought a small thing of wax for like 13 i think. then i use strips of crappy sheets. LOL ya know. the one's we keep using. but they have the strips there for i think 6 bucks. and i also use pop cycle sticks. alot cheaper to use them!! i use olive oil afterwards to make sure all the stuff is off my face. it makes me nice and soft!! LOL so all in all. under 40 bucks to get your stuff done in the middle of the night or whenever you want it done, and no one can look at ya afterwards if ya want, LOL like after ya get it done by someone else. LOL but that's just my opinion. LOL i did my chin and my sides (of my face) just make sure to leave enough pull room!! LOL :')) i wanta go back and see if they have any almond massage oil. then i'll be happy!! yep!! so we went t the store today. grant and i did not mesh. at all. we argued the whole time!! of course he said it was my fault and i say its his fault and bla bla bla. then on the way home we didn't even get out of town and he told me sams club lets ya get cash back, apparently i musta made a face, he was like what was that disgusted face about?? all attituded out. well that was it for me so by now i'm yelling in the kia. and i'm like what? what? i didn't do anything! do ya just want me to draw some eyebrows on?? will that make it all better for you?? will it?? cuz if it will i will!!!! and for your info i don't have a problem with that!! thats just your own problem or guilty consience or something. and i was done!! didn't talk all the way home. and baby that's over 40 mine. a long time for me!!! LOL i think at that moment i actually hated him more than anything!! but we get home and we get inside and its like nothing ever happened. i'm so not kidding!! we got along so good!! i think its just that he's so used to shopping by himself and the stress of spending the very little he got off of his last check from the one job. and he just told me citibank told him that they are gonna repo our house if he doesn't pay them our payment by the 22nd. by now, i'm almost in hestarics inside. that's the reason i didn't want to morgage our house. cuz up til then we owned it. so i calmly ask. honey. are ya gonna be able to pay it?? he say's yes. i'll get paid by then. then i freak!!! I'm bad about that!! but that's no excuse for today. imo. i don't know. it's been crazy!! LOL hope ya'lls day went alot better!!

Adrenaline After a stay in icu heart recently everyone finally agreed i am mot crazy.it was.my heart. The docs installed is a device catch my heart acting badly is a heart tracker like halter monitor. Under my chest muscles on top of my heart. I can cause it record what just happened.. iam write with excitment because your stories are all so familiar. These stories for me begin after mitral valve repair. 7 years ago. Basic problem ..unless the doc sees the heart behaving badly they deny the problem. All this time we never could catch it Last doc said bluntly if we dont see it didnt happen. You must to er Well recent at 230 am it woke me up, just as you have described. I went directly to the er They caught the serious thing! Arrithemia and more then two days in icu. Now meds have slowed my heart from 70 to 52 while docs decide what to do. Last night I realized I was having an adreilin rush. The same rush I went to a neurologist for help. Over a year and half. Often it also affect my skin. Goose bumps crawling feeling all day long! Well have I got news for him.I was not crazy about that either. my gp I visited last month just to say. I know you don't know what is wrong but I still got it. Knows too I sat in neros office two months ago ,,,same thing. I said dr i just want you know ME when I end up in er..and i need you. well it was er straight to icu. Home now with electrical issues. Last last night meds have my average at 52 bpm.it woke me. 2 3 am. I use my tricks to get back to sleep.as soon as felt sleep coming on the stomach feeling spread. It woke me up heart pounding.sweat .out of breath!!! Happened several times . then checked average heart rate on my Garmin. 48. Average 48 so i was probably lower. Maybe 45! My natural pace maker kicked in every time sleep lowered bpm and I was short on air. Natural pace maker? Adrenaline can't wait to see what was recorded on my device Thank you body! Now I think i know what as going on for long time hidden from doc view. Electric shock adrenaline style

Well, antibiotics are NOT going to help with anemia, and without proper veterinary treatment I'm afraid you're going to lose her. Isn't there another vet around who can really help? If she's doing that bad, she may need a blood transfusion which is expensive, but may save her life in the short term. Anemia is caused by something, and unless and until that cause is found and treated Meshka doesn't have much hope for survival. It depends on how far you can go with treatment of course. If you're not going to do anything else for Meshka, please euthanize her. She is suffering, and slowly dying of anemia is NOT a good death- it will take days. I'm glad the kittens are mostly doing well.

I thought I'd write an update since a lot has happened since I posted just the other day. Studying Ellie's test results and everything online about it, the finger pointed directly at FIP. I'm guessing the "dry" variety since the doctor didn't see any fluid accumulation in Ellie. About the time I came to this sad conclusion, Anne-Marie read this post and emailed me directly, reminding me of the helpful Yahoo communities, of which they had an FIP group. Once there, I read an update by a woman named Karin whose kitty, Gracie, was diagnosed with dry FIP 26 months ago. She was enrolled in a Univ. of Tenn. study for a new drug, and today the kitty is free of FIP! Anyway, from her I got the contact information for the study director and the drug mfg. Finally, I called my vet who admitted he thought it was FIP. Since he knows it to be a death sentence, he hadn't wanted to leave me with no hope, so he just said FIP could be one of the reasons for her test results. I was initially upset that he could've told me this a month ago, but if he had, I'd have probably accepted his prognosis (since I've read enough about FIP in the past on this board) and not gone searching on my own, which led me to the drug, a polyprenyl immunostimulant (PI). Anyway, I've contacted the study leader and am trying to obtain the drug for my kitty. This evening, my vet contacted him also to see what was needed (by the way of further testing) to get her considered. It's a long-shot, I know--but it's the only one we have. My vet hadn't even heard of the study, much less the drug's potential. Heck, he obviously didn't even know much about FIP (which I guess is good--not many kitties around here having it hopefully). Here's something about it: "Recently, a new drug tested in three cats with the dry form of FIP demonstrated efficacy in prolonging life and alleviating signs.38 The drug, a polyprenyl immunostimulant, is an investigatory veterinary biologic that upregulates mRNA expression of T helper lymphocytes responsible for effective cell-mediated immunity. In this study, two cats with FIP were still alive two years after diagnosis, while one cat survived 14 months. Further studies are under way to assess this drug's potential for FIP treatment.38" So, there IS hope for some kitties.....and my prayers are that there is hope for Ellie, too. Tracey
