NOT tarnished copper... I was intrigued about slugs and copper, so conducted my own little experiment. I put 1/2" copper pipe in the sun, and a slug so that, with the sun at his back, in his retreat he would be forced to come face-to-face with the copper. He touched it and reared back like a miniature horse! It worked, and I read later that their reaction is caused by a small electrical charge. ---- One drawback about copper I've never seen addressed in forums or blogs, on garden sites, or by garden suppliers: once the copper is tarnished, slugs cross it like it's nothing. I don't feel like cleaning my copper, nor wish to rebuy every season, so I've opted for ducks. They're fun companions (in the country), but the hens can be loud. Too many books out there to list. I have some oldie but goodies, like Arnold Schwarzenegger's Exercise book (from the 1980's I think). It has a beginner's section, which covers the range of basic exercises to do before you work up to working out at a gym. I have an old Jane Fonda's workout book. It's excellent. And if you've ever seen any of her exercise tapes, she usu. had a section in her workout tapes (which were aerobics) of floor work. Don't forget that you can do the same resistance exercises usu. with or without hand weights. So even though a book might have hand weights being used, you can always do them w/o the weights. Another thought: The U.S. Air Force has a recommended routine. This used to be given to patients by doctors for working out. Amazon.com has a book on this, as well as other floor workout/resistance workout books. Don't forget about using exercise BANDS. They are perfect for traveling and add resistance. Any book on Pilates would be good, I would think. I have basic Pilates tapes, and there are a number of the exercises that do not use exercise balls or any equipment at all. A plus is that these are not time consuming. Good luck!

I can't work out in the morning. I notice if I do I am chilled the rest of the day and I eat everything in site. I exercise at night. We eat dinner around 5:00-5:30. I get the kitchen clean and a load of laundry done and around 7:00 I exercise for an hour, shower and fall into bed. I am down 13 pounds as of this morning!

DEFINITELY what PG & CN said!! Paint is only as good as the weakest-link. In THIS case, that fail-point is the layer that lifted. It ain't the tapes fault! The green Frog-tape has been VERY popular here for yeeeaars. It's in the medium-to-firm-adhesion level. This year (?), they introduced a YELLOW tape...for delicate/suspect surfaces. Faron
