I can't work out in the morning. I notice if I do I am chilled the rest of the day and I eat everything in site. I exercise at night. We eat dinner around 5:00-5:30. I get the kitchen clean and a load of laundry done and around 7:00 I exercise for an hour, shower and fall into bed. I am down 13 pounds as of this morning!

I wear SkirtSports and Athleta running skorts for running and working out. For me the length is perfect - long enough to wear out to the grocery store w/o feeling skimpy. The built in compression shorts on the SkirtSports brand have pockets on either thigh where I store my car key and my iPod or anything else I need to carry. I also have a few things from lululemon that I love. I mostly wear skorts for working out now b/c I don't feel funny wearing them out in public. I don't like wearing tights/compression gear if I'm running errands. SkirtSports also has a longer skirt that I wouldn't wear for exercising as it's a tad too long, but it's great for running errands. In cooler months, I wear the LottaBreeze Capri style (capri w/skirt over top). For winter, I wear insulated running tights that have a built in skirt from Athleta or I wear Under Armour Cold Gear tights with a separate skirt from Athleta over top to cover my arse. Once I discovered skirts/skorts, I rarely ever wear workout shorts anymore (the compression shorts underneath prevent chafing). Here is a link that might be useful: Skirt Sports

I did 15 minutes on a manual treadmill 9manual treadmills are a chore! LOL). The pedometer says it was about 700 steps but my calves say it was about double that. Goal is to be up to 1500-2000 steps by the end of the month.

I just finished. I put the step counter on my shoe instead of waist and counted steps to make sure it was fairly accurate. Shoe seems to be better than waist for me- guess my budding fat roll gets in the way of it measuring, LOL. I just did 1,200 steps marching in place, doing side steps, and using the bottom step of the stairs. Took about 15-20 minutes. Skipped the treadmill because my legs were not happy but I wasn't going to completely skip doing anything. I also had oatmeal for a late lunch- that should count for something! I have a coffee bean grinder that I use to crush pecans. I pulverized the dry oatmeal and some apple chip. Mixed them together and added some cinnamon. It wasn't great but I ate a good size bowl without gagging. Janie
