Tortilla rollups--problems with the tortillas

I noticed that the last time I made flour tortilla rollups, I had a problem.

I usually make these during one day with cream cheese and sliced turkey and maybe a tiny bit of chopped green onions, then I roll them up tight, wrap tightly in saran wrap, refrigerate overnight, then take them out the ext day and cut off the ends, and cut them into 1.5" slices.

I noticed the tortillas were starting to separate from themselves into little ribbons of tortilla that you could "peel" off.

Instead of staying together in tight little 1.5" bundles of round yumminess, they started acting as if they were made of phyllo or puff pastry instead of a solid, round tortilla--if you can imagine what I'm trying to say.

What can I do to avoid this?
