Comments (16)Hi, With the video, I watched it twice. It had some examples of how to use it that were helpful. I don't use it to exercise by. It didn't have the scissors exercise on it that I do for the inner thighs. I got creative with the tippy toe thing. I have a full sized mirror in front of the glider in the wall, just like at the gym. It motivates me for some reason. If I can see anything jiggle, I know that I have more work to do, if I see myself sweating hard, I know I am doing a good job. Also, it helps me see if the children are too close to the foot rests (I have a 3 and 1 yr old). They always like to be where mommy is. This is one piece of equipment that I know won't gather dust like my treadmill, stepper and weight bench. Do yourself a favor and lubricate the cross sections, it will help the squeaks that can occur after prolonged use. Mine is very quiet since I enhanced it with 2 washers and some WD 40. I remember how the treadmill was so noisey. You can't even tell someone is using the glider. Jainie...See Moreplease give starting suggestions
Comments (15)Cute lil burte! LOL! How funny. I think this might fall into the same catagory as the straight hair/curly hair thing. Curly haired people wish their hair didn't go berzerk and straight haired people wish there hair would do anything at all! Actually, I'd take any "fit looking" build. Muscular, slender, tall or short. I know these poor women no matter how hard they work out they look cushy. They work so hard to look lean and strong but don't really look like they work out at all. The health benies are still there but it would be frustrating not to have any of the physical stuff! I wonder if they have super-high octane estrogen or something? PJ...See MoreTony Little Gazelle
Comments (7)Hello Felan, I am sorry I don't have any advise pertaining to the product you are inquiring about. However, maybe I can be of help reguarding your lack of a credit card, or at least give you some advice on aquiring some of the conveniences that a credit card affords you. Are you aware that a debit card, or ATM (automated teller machine) card, basically works just like a credit card? Because of my lack of credit, I have not been able to get a credit card (or at least one with a less then ridiculous interest rate). But to my suprise I have found that when ordering items that I have seen on TV, I still have the freedom to choose the payment plan option. In some cases, I am not even sure if they can tell a credit card from a debit card. When, they ask what type of card I have, I simply reply, Visa and go on to give the required information. The payments are deducted directly from my checking account. However, I believe you can also have debit cards linked to other types of accounts, such as savings. Check it out! Once you get one, you'll wonder how you ever got along with out it. Just make sure your bank deals with one of the major companies, (for example mine is uses Visa) and make sure you don't get an account with allot of, or high service charges. Most banks offer economy checking accounts, or free savings accounts. For example, my checking account doesn't earn interest but there are no charges for card use, and no limit on check use as long as I keep at least $100 in the account. Try it you'll love having one!...See MoreSound proof windows
Comments (16)Hi it's my first post, not sure if I should start a new thread for this question. I live in a condo. The building still has its original 1977 bronze aluminum double pane glider windows (W47''xL65''). They don't close anymore so I want to replace them. My concern is noise reduction and my constraint is that whatever I replace them with, has to look like the old ones to preserve the building's external appearance. After searching the internet and getting quotes from contractors, it seems my best option in terms of noise reduction is a bronze aluminum double frame (not pane) system with a 1/4'' laminated single pane glass in the external frame and 1/8'' glass single pane in the interior frame. The space between the two is at least 4''. Both frames are fully operable which means the air space isn't sealed and therefore contains no gas. (a cut of the window linked below) 1. Any idea how much it should cost per unit (including installation) for 4 windows? Suppose I could convince my condo association to replace all our windows, how much would it be for 60 windows instead? 2. Is that a good solution to reduce noise? Are there better ones? 3. How energy efficient would it be? Compared to traditional double-pane fiberglass or vinyl? 4. Is anyone familiar with this brand? Monray/DeVac is it any good? I couldn't find any review or comments about them. 5. Is there any other window type/brand you would recommend? Many thanks Here is a link that might be useful: Monray DeVac 600...See Moretiredmom
