Get yourself a book on how these things work. then maybe you will understand better. Yes, it is possible to use up more muscle tissue than you can rebuild if you do too much. then you are going to be in BIG trouble. All of your body tissues, both fat, neural and muscle are constantly being broken down and rebuilt. I suspect with the amount of exercise that you do that you have little fat to use for energy. Therefore, you are breaking down muscle tissue to use. That's the way the body works. Keep in mind that your most important muscle is your heart. It would be wise to listen to your trainer and give your muscles a proper lenght of time to recover. Watching TV will do this, more running won't.

I've never heard of Ladies Workout Express, but I joined Curves 2 years ago. I knew right off that I would be bored in short order, but I needed to do something for exercise. Well I ended up with a knee injury -- the orthopedist thinks I probably had a weakness, and Curves pushed me over the edge. Their concept and equipment is a "one size fits all" mentality. He said he has seen a lot of injuries from Curves users. I also found it amusing that when it came time to take our pulse (when the tape would instruct us), the front desk person would come around and say "Everyone okay?" I always wondered if they would know what to do if someone was in the "red" zone. I'd look for a real gym, with real instructors, classes, etc. Just my two cents.

I decided on a non-custom one that says something like "Look Up, Not Down, Look Out, Not In, Look Forward, Not Back" KKelly & Igloo - could interpret that as Look Up (so you don't see your breasts going down), Look Out (so you don't worry about your insides falling apart) and Look Forward (so you don't look back in the mirror to see how big my a$% has gotten)!!! $32...we'll see if it is a nice addition or something that sits and waits to be hung...you don't have to put them on the wall, you can put on a glass frame and hang without the back of the frame (bad description). I may do something so I do not have to scrape them off the wall someday... And maybe, maybe, I'll be inspired to workout!

Knew you folks would give me great advice. Just got in from shopping . Lots of trying on comfortable pants. Learned you really have to try on to check for fit. Went to several stores and about 20 pairs later, I have one pair so far. Danskin from walmart seemed to fit the best. I weigh about hundred pounds with a brick in my pocket, and 5 feet tall. It can be a challenge when you add in the fact that I am 75 years old. Got my interest with the cuddl duds. Already checking into those. I thank each of you for your advice and will continue shopping at more stores looking for more. Bought two down jackets yesterday, one with sleeves and one without. The yoga pants I purchased are not tight, so think I can wear them other than exercise. Thank you again for all your help. You folks are the best.
