I am not sure if I should post this here or in the computer forum, so I am doing both...I am about to buy an iPod. The only problem is that I have a great deal of music saved on my laptop's hard drive and it is all WMA not MP3 format. Can anyone please tell me how to convert WMA into MP3 so I can play it all on my iPod? I am fairly ignorant about these things :(

Apple's iTunes, bundled with your iPod, will recognize both formats and transfer them successfully to your iPod.

Embird -- what is is all capable of?

The basic Embird program does editing and resizing and format conversions. You can buy a digitizing plug in that doesn't cost much (about $150 I think) and from what I have read, it works very well! You can see what the different Embird components do on the My Embroidery Haven website (www.myembroideryhaven.com). Marie at MEH is VERY knowledgeable about Embird. Also, you can check out the Martha Pullen machine embroidery forum and do a search on Embird. Lots of ladies there use it and you can learn a lot about it just from reading the posts there.
