Philips Magnavox TV problem

I have the same problem described below with exception that I do not see a spark coming out of that particular resistor when I switch the TV on. My question is: do I have the same solution apply for mine TV? (the model is the same)(the chassis number is the same)

My TV (model number 27TS54 C101) is also showing similiar(I think so) problems. It shuts off itself as soon as I switch it on. I opened the backside of thw TV but could not locate the resistor you were mentioning. I am not sure if this model is similiar to others mentioned in the above messages

The chassis number is 27B800 7562.

When I switched on the TV, I could see a spark coming out of capacitor(?) C506 , and TV shuts down immediately.

Could this be a problem? If it is, what should I replace it with?

The chassis number is 27B800 7562.

C506 is your problem, the value is 820pf @ 2kv. You may be able to obtain the part from the distributor listed below.

I have about 55" Phillips smart tv. Model 55PFL3907/F7 SN: VM1A1213110389. I had a power outage and the tv and direct tv modem were working when the power went out. Not so much when it came back on. The TV has a pink/violet picture stuck on it which has yellow writing. Doesn't seem to be a Phillips logo just some random picture. Plus the Direct tv modem isn't working properly either. The Direct tv company is coming to check it out but I'm looking for some input in case it turns out that the problem is with the tv. Thanks for any help you can give.

My 48" magnavox projection screen Model no. RL8544 Chassis no. PTV385-A001. Im having some problems, and hope you can help. Was working fine, then picture went black, Still have perfect sound, but no pic. Pic came on, then went out while I was watching, If I turn it off, and on again picture will come on for a split second, then go out again. picture looks fine when it comes on tho. Im really hoping you have an answer for me. hopefully its an easy fix. I cant afford a new one. Thanks for your help.

Hello: I have a Magnavox floor model T.V Chasis Model# 25P1-02EE Model# RK4910AK03 Serial# 79025727 That has a 1/4" horizontal line running across the middle of the screen. There is no sound but the line appears to be red and white in color. Can some tell me what is the problem and if there is a fix for it. Thank you.

I own a 7 year old Crosley (Philips-Magnavox) 55" projection TV model # 55CP40C104. I recently attemted to connect the TV to my DishNetwork set top box with a set of component video (YPbPr) cables.
