PHILIPS 27PT6441/37 Chassis: L041UAA

Pee Wee: I hope you can help.

TV will not power on. The green power light comes on and blicks 3 times fast 2 times fast and 1 time slow. I hear a click of a relay energizing, then a second or so later the relay clicks again.

When powering on several times I may hear sound for a second or 2.

This seems similar to other posts w/ a repair to resister "3340", I looked on the CRT board and could not find 3340. I did find a 10 Ohm resister(3351), but it checks good.

Any Ideas?

For theose of you are having a problem with "NO POWER" try replacing the 4 amp fuse. If you go to this website:

It discusses all the problems everyone has been having with this tv. I am waiting on Best Buy service to come fix mine. I was told over the phone by the technician that the computer board needed to be fixed with out them even coming to look at the tv. I called them back to reschedule and I am leaving a copy of all the complaints from the website on the tv. I will not be buying another Philips again.

I HAVE A PHILIPS TV MODEL NUMBER 27PT6441/37 WITH A CHASSIS NUMBER LO4.1U AA when powered on the screen is black for a few seconds with thin blue, red, and green lines completely across the upper section of the screen(horizontal) and when the picture comes on there is a slight distortion in shape where the picture doesnt fill the screen...again at the top part of the screen, and the left side is not as high as the right side of the picture (slight angle) any help will greatly be appreciated. thank you

i have a 1999 philips magnavox big screen model #9p6034 c102 was watching tv and then it made a static sound and then no noise, i have tryed to turn off & on tv and put volunm up & down but nothing. the picture is working fine, just cant hear anything. please help!!!! it's driving me nut's not hearing anything thanks and the chassis model number is ptv835

We have a Philips 27" tv that is less than one (1) year old. Model 27PT6441/37. Chassis Jan 2005. We we go and turn it on, there is nothing, no sound or no screen activity. Dead. Like there's no power even getting to it. Is this something we can fix or have to take to a repair shop? And if we can fix it ourselves, what are the steps. Thanks!!
