Salvia as a drug teenagers want. I'm not making this up.
Comments (15)Salvia Divinorum is one of the more intense hallucinogenic drugs out there. Many people liken it to a quicker and less spiritual version of DMT. It can be found in either the very potent "extract" form or in dried leaves. It is smoked and leads the user into a 3-7minute (on average) trip. In the lower grade trips you may see closed eye visuals and have some physical effects. Contrary to what was written above, I've never had much trouble moving around, or running, while on weaker trips. In more intense trips, the user can experience ego death, or a total loss of self, where the world is stripped away. This can be terrifying or amazingly freeing. Strong trips usually contain open eye visuals as well, although sometimes all reality can be lost track of. Why it is still legal is beyond me, aside from the fact that it didn't get publicity until recently. Once it is illegal it will most likely die out as it is more expensive and less rewarding than conventional hallucinogens such as mushrooms or lsd. In two days it will be illegal in Illinois. I believe Michigan has yet to pass legislation though. For more information involving the chemistry, dosage, laws, and other info about salvia, see my link. P.S. You can't get high off of smoking banana peels or peanut skins. There are no psychoactive chemicals in either of them. Comments (13)It's too low to get a good quality job with a comfortable profit for the builder. All of his overhead has to come out of that, and 15-20% on a moderate priced home is the more usual fee. Not always true. Ours is a quality custom home with a lot of special features and details. Our GC was a one man show. His office was his kitchen. He has no overhead. He usually is building one home at a time. He does crank up the next one as current one is being finished. He's been building custom homes for over 20 years and everyone only has nice things to say about him. We own commercial property and many of our regular subs know him. Another quality builder we received bid from had an office, an on site supervisor, a fleet of trucks, plus all the women in his office, etc. BIG overhead. In the end, we were more comfortable with the GC we selected. It wasn't all about the money. We were also allowed to do things during the build to help save on cost. We were able to use our own subs. I purchased whatever I wanted from wherever I wanted. DH's helper did all the clean up, they stained the beams before installation, etc. DH is knowledgeable and we were able to be very hands on....See MoreWhat type of kitchen do you want, in your new home?
Comments (12)Our first home had a small opening between the kitchen and family room. There was also enough room in the kitchen for a small table to seat 2. The pros of this arrangment is that the mess in the kitchen was not visible and the noise was somewhat contained. The con was that during parties/gatherings-everyone ended up in the kitchen no matter how much we tried to get them out to hang out in the family room or dining room. The dining room was never used except as a dumping room. The house we rented while building had completely separate rooms. There was not even an eat in space in the kitchen. I hated this arrangment. Everything felt too choppy. It didn't work for a family with a young child. Our new home has one really big room. The cons have been mentioned- the kitchen mess is visible by all. But it has forced me ot be neater. And if designed properply, there are way to contain the mess. Also noise is sometimes a problem if one person is cooking and someone else is trying to watch tv. We almost never watch tv during the day so it's not a frequent problem. Having the dining room between the kitchen and family room creates somewhat of a buffer. The pros-it suites our lifestyle. We are prefer casual living and entertaining. All of our family live out of town and we have lots of people staying with us frequently. It's nice ot able to be together but have space to spread out. Plus I'm a women, but I love th NFL so it's awesome on Sundays....See MoreHow to make a house one that people/kids want to come to
Comments (25)I can relate to most of the comments on here. I grew up in a house where everyone wanted to be & wanted my house to be the same for my child. He is an only child so it is very important to me to have lots of kiddos over. Pool helps! Snacks, popsicles. Lots of outdoor play - scooters, bikes, skateboards going down my sloped driveway - big ditch next to house - great for commando - we build fires & roast marshmellows - four wheeling = lots of mud!! I do all these things with them. I put the playstation in the den - DH & I enjoy it just as much as the kids:) Lots of get togethers - wine, beer for grown-ups and kids running around. Sat. nite we danced in my den. Kids jumping off the sofa to the ottoman and into my arms!! I like my house fairly clean, too. I just stay up until whatever time after everyone leaves to clean it up. I don't like waking up to a dirty house. But, I think most of all our attitude about life helps. We strongly believe in enjoying ourselves & not getting caught up in the rat race of life. DH created a career for himself where he is able to be home alot. Yes, he could make alot more money somewhere else but.....it's all good:) I love the - Life is good- t-shirts!! I would much rather have him then out spending his paychecks. But our attitude developed from us both having work aholic parents growing up - chasing the almighty dollar. My parents came around & we had lots of good times together, thou. (There's my pscyhology for the day:) Smiles:)...See Morenicoletouk
