I love reading about people's allotments :) I had one when I lived in London and there was so much ingenuity to be found. You could walk around and get all sorts of new ideas for everything. I love the mishmash of sheds built out of old doors and rubbish bin rain buckets and so on. Plus there were always of strapping men around willing to trade a few beers for helping a damsel in distress. I look back on it so fondly, then I remember how much easier tomatoes are here :) I don't know why I never thought to make a simple calendar like that, for some reason I automatically use Excel and it isn't really streamlined for that purpose. Let's see if we can distill this thread down to it's core elements: Option number one: Download the needed file to your local machine and install on your local machine the software needed to modify and print the file. or Option number two: Rely on a cloud-based service to provide the needed file with the ability to modify & print as needed while dealing with the difficulties inherent with multiple browsers/configurations/printers in use which (if successful) might offer the ability to be accessible on multiple devices. I know which one I'm going to use (can you guess?) You make the call.

Yes, I admit that I wash and reuse the plastic bags, and my kids tease me incessantly about it. I usually hung them over the kitchen faucet or over Diet Coke bottles in the sink. It never dawned on any of them that the "gadget" might actually BE for drying plastic bags! Makayla thought it would be a good fence for her toy horses, that's my farm girl. (grin) Bruvver thought it was a lot of hammers, he could pound on lots of stuff. So you see, Peppi, you didn't just send a single use item, it can be used for LOTS of things. Elery thought it would be a good device to "store clean socks". I asked what in the heck was wrong with the drawer? Amanda said it would also be good to wrap string or yarn around to keep it from tangling or storing it to reuse it. Hmmmmm.... How many other things could this be used for, do you think? Annie
