Way to make zucchini dish less watery?

I made a quick zucchini (no noodles) casserole layering spaghetti sauce, a mixture of ricotta/eggs/parsley/parmesan and zucchini slices. It tastes great but is watery.

Is there anyway to make it less so?

If anyone has a recipe for something similar, I'd love to try it!
