Beergaritas

Just in time for Super Bowl parties

Beergaritas

from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution

1 (12-ounce can frozen limeade concentrate

6 to 12 ounces tequila

3 (12-ounce) Mexican-style beers, such as Corona

Ice

Lime slices for garnish

In a pitcher, stir together the lmeade and tequila until well-combined. Add the beers. Pour into individual glasses over ice; garnish with lime slices.

Quantities are subject to your taste and endurance levels. Reduce the tequila or add more beer to your individual preference. To make a frozen beergarita, McEwan said, reduce the total number of beers to two, and combine the limeade concentrate and tequila in a blender with crushed ice.

Made famous by Casey and Debbie McEwen of Alpharetta, who started serving a variation of this cocktail at summer parties several years ago. "Most folks love it and describe it as a 'less tarty party version' of the traditional drink," Casey McEwen said. "It's now a staple of every party we have."
