I wear Dansko or Sanita clogs.

I refuse to ever wear sneakers unless I'm exercising. I wear clogs 95% of the time! I like Joseph Seibel -- expensive, but they last forever. I wish I could wear Dansko but they don't agree with my feet for some reason. I also have Merrell clogs and a couple pairs from Clarks.

I wear a lot of privos in the not hot or cold days. Just for things like grocery shopping, etc.
Most are leather and a cross between a flat and a sneaker.
Comfy but stylish.

I love my ballet flats. And personally, I think flats or moccasins look really cute with jeans. I don't know how much you want to spend, but Target and Old Navy have the cutest flats for around $20. j. crew has some really beautiful flats, but they're much more expensive.

I don't wear clogs anymore and don't like risking my foot sliding out of the shoe, so I have never tried a mule, to be honest.

I've been wearing Merrell Mary Jane style shoes. They are as comfortable and supportive as sneakers but look much nicer. They are more secure than clogs because the strap holds them in place. I can walk for miles in these. I have the black cloth ones.

Man, the jeans and black clogs are practically a uniform around where I live! I'm as guilty as the next 'mature' woman, though :). I got Timberland professional black clogs this year, and they're pretty great. I go for the professional kind because they're waterproof, slip resistant, and designed to be supportive for hours of being on your feet. They also have enough room for my duck-feet toes :)

Funny -- fly, I was just about to come back and add that I had a pair of Timberland clogs that lasted forever and were as comfortable as slippers.

My uniform these days (snowy New England) is jeans with very-unstylish wooly black clogs from Lands End. We have so much snow and ice on the ground, it doesn't make sense to wear anything "nice" on my feet.

I live in Dansko clog's (mules) fall up until it is warm enough to wear sandals. I have about every color they make. I also like them because they give me a little height.

I was just thinking about buying these really cute blue boots by Frye. They can be worn all the way up to sandal time. I also like flats.

I have gone from fashion to comfort these days. No more pointy toed heeled boots for me!!

But, for those in between months, it is flats or even flip flops since I am in the South. I have a pair of Coach loafers that have arch support.

LOL Well I have gone from fashion (somewhat..I refuse to leave entirely) to ease, more than comfort...anything I can slip on in 30 seconds without bending down (because my arms are full of child, backpacks, his shoes, etc). I wear clogs. I have several pair, some pointy toes, black leather, very polished, looks like a lovely boot with jeans, and some more casual. All have heals, either a wedge or a stacked heal, some wide, some narrow...I'm a big clog shopper heh heh I don't go for the clunky ones (I have a girlfriend with those leapord ones and they're actually really cute, but they are always too wide for my feet).

I can't wear uggs because it's a national sport to make fun on them in alaska :oP Someone would find out and I'd be rediculed for life heh heh

Oops! Either I wear pointy toe high heels or kitten heel mules depending on what I'm doing. Otherwise I live in black and white converse (only) or when the weather is warm I'm always barefoot.

I must say that I really like those Merrel mary janes. Looking for something different for everyday throw on comfort when I HAVE to wear shoes but don't want to wear sneakers.

Ladies, be careful with the mules, make sure it's a really good fit! Especially snug at the back! That's how I broke my foot + tore a tendon. Was wearing a pair that had a small rim around the back, could have been a better fit, because tho it didn't happen all the time, once in a while my heel would do an ever so slight sideways slip. Stepped off a step & when my foot hit the ground that was one of those times. Heard a loud crack (kind of a sickening noise), next thing I know I'm sprawled on the ground like Bambi on ice. :o I was more embarrassed at first (because of course the guy across the street saw the whole thing). Till it started to swell and toes went numb. Thankfully it wasn't a bad break and healed quickly, torn tendon was the worst. But I pitched those shoes!

Clarks all the way, baby! They've got decent arch support and some cushion. Love the slip-ons! I don't like to wear shoes when I don't absolutely have to, so these can come off while I am sitting at a desk or the couch.

I am a shoe and boot freak, I have probably fifty pairs. I also live in jeans during the winter.

I couldn't agree with tomorrowisanotherday when it comes to Clarks, gosh they feel good. Also, Born shoes are comforable but not cute, keep that in mind.

I love my biker boots by Rocket Dog and my shoe boots (dressy and plaid) by Kenzie.

goldgirl, i'm not seww, but Sanita's *are* Danskos. Sort of.

(My first pair of Danskos have "Sanita" stamped on them, by the way. The leopards I linked to above are last year's Sanitas.)

"Since the early 1990s until August 2007, all Dansko Professional clogs and all Dansko Stapled Clogs had been manufactured by Sanita in Europe. The distribution agreement between Dansko and Sanita ended in August 2007. Shortly after that time, Sanita began distributing the same products directly in the US under their own name.

"If you have a pair of Dansko stapled clogs purchased before 2008, look at the bottom of the sole and you will see patent 0060240 engraved into the sole. This indicates that your clogs were made by Sanita according to their patented construction. If you have a pair of really old Dansko clogs, you may even see Sanita stamped on the bottom as well as the patent number mentioned above.

scooby, you can't beat a pair of uggs to keep you warm and are quick to slip on, can you? Most of the time I have to wear my Danskos for support, but, I throw my uggs on a lot!

segbrown, good to know about the Sanitas! They have some colors I don't have!

I try to do the best for my feet in the winter, because I do like wearing more stylish sandals in the summer. Although, I do have quite a few pairs of the dressiest Birkenstocks they make (silver, gold, snakeskin, bright yellow, etc), because they are so good for your feet! I am so bad at finding a shoe and getting it in a lot of colors! What's wrong with me??? LOL!

I will admit I am vain when it comes to shoes. I love attractive shoes, stylish shoes. I also refuse to wear shoes that are uncomfortable! For the sake of looks though, I refuse to wear uggs or clarks. Actually, I am not a boot person at all. My tootsies need to breathe! I cannot stand having my feet all covered up. Thank goodness I live in the south and can wear sandals, flip-flops, or at least backless shoes, etc. a good part of the year.

I am another clogs lover. I also think Merrells are comfortable and they seem to have a few cuter, trendier items than some of the other more comfy shoes.

I also dislike crocks (very much so!), but I will admit to having bought a pair of their flip-flops, and they are soooooo very comfy.

My favorites are charley horse 1 brand cowboy clogs. If I could afford more than just this pair, I would have them in many styles and colors. They are extremely comfortable and well made.

Try Ariat shoes -- the company started making equestrian boots and shoes but then expanded. These are the best things on rubber, if you ask me. They are not inexpensive, but you can pick them up on ebay. I also wear Clarks, which are excellent. But I still give Ariat the edge -- there's just not a lot of variety with the Ariats.
