Is iPhone causing this problem?

Just got a new iPhone from work to replace a Blackberry. Tonight when I got home it asked to be connected to my router, so I said yes. So now it seems like I have a problem, twice tonight I have lost my connection on the desktop. I'm on Charter Cable so I called in to see what the problem might be. They had me unplug the modem, shut down the computer and unplug the router...then plug back in and restart the computer.

Worked fine for about 1/2 hour then I lost my connection on the desk top again. This time I just shutdown the computer and unplugged the router (didn't bother with the modem) I then plugged the router back in and booted up...now I have a connection again.

Is the iPhone causing this problem? I've never had this happen before.

Should I set up something on the router, like a new device on my network?

Or maybe this is all just a coincidence?

This is a Linskey's router, my computer is a little over 3 yrs old (so is the router) and I have Windows XP SP3
